As I stated in a previous article Liverpool rely heavily on Salah, Firmino and Mane to score all their goals. A long term injury to one or two of them and Liverpool will be lucky to make top 4.
Wolves will finish 7th, 8th or 9th depending on players they manage to bring in.

For purely personal reasons I just hope and pray we finish above Everton. That aside, if we make strong additions I think we can match last season's finish. Our post Christmas form was outstanding but continuing that would require the same good fortune with injuries and form that we enjoyed last season. Add in Europa league games and we're talking a very different set of circumstances. We don't have the squad depth to cruise through that and tackle the PL head on. Choosing our priority will determine league position I think because trying to go full pelt at both would not be wise as things stand.

Apart from City winning the league everything else looks just about up in the air to me.
I wager it will take less than 10 games for most of these expectations for the season to go out the window.

I can see one or two of the sides they have in 7-9 breaking the top 6 this season to be honest.

Been watching the International Champions Cup thats going on over here and I have to say that both Liverpool and Arsenal have got some very good talented youngsters, so if Arsenal can sort out their defensive problems, they could be a dark horse this season.

If we don't buy a minimum of 3 new players, don't see us finishing in the top ten.
Hard to replicate last season with the same squad.

Interesting to look back at what the bookies were saying last summer. Sheffield United unquestionably the surprise team of the season, and Liverpool were certainly not expected to out perform City by such a margin. Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd not as good as predicted and Leicester, Sheff Utd and maybe Wolves taking advantage of that.
Current prediction by the bookies for comparison
