Doesnt look far from what i would predict.
3-6 could swap round. 7-9 could. Expect Saints to be lower, Watford higher.

United above Arsenal

Burnley to go down. Please God Burnley take their anti-football boringshite to another league soon!

Think all 3 south coast clubs will be very much in the fight for survival.

Probably would have gone for something similar myself.

Think maybe Newcastle will finish higher than predicted.

expect liverpool to be champions, leicester to be pushing for top 6 and villa to be relegated.
cant say about wolves as we seem to be struggling to get top players to come to us. if we could get 2 or 3 of our top targets i can see us breaking in to the top 6

Wolves season could depend on how well they fit in the EL. Enough strength in depth?

If Wolves don’t strengthen their squad then 9th may be as good as it gets, but if they get 3 or 4 decent players in, as they have been predicting, then top 6 is possible.

I think Southampton will do better than last season and Watford worse. If Palace sell Zaha then I think they will struggle. Bottom three I reckon will be Sheffield United, Brighton and Bournemouth

I see no reason why we cannot emulate or even improve on 7th spot next season. The two main players that have gone out on loan made very little difference last season. I expect Gibbs-White and Vinagre to get more games and I'm sure a few younger players will make the bench, more so this time around.

As for new players...do we go for better than what we have, or simply get 3/4 decent players.

Either way, I'm sure some will come in, as we do need a slightly bigger squad than last season. Nuno has made it perfectly clear he doesn't want too big a squad, so between 2 and 4 suits me fine.

Liverpool champions are you drinking ?

As I stated in a previous article Liverpool rely heavily on Salah, Firmino and Mane to score all their goals. A long term injury to one or two of them and Liverpool will be lucky to make top 4.
Wolves will finish 7th, 8th or 9th depending on players they manage to bring in.

Anybody who thinks Arsenal will finish above Wolves is a pudding !

For purely personal reasons I just hope and pray we finish above Everton. That aside, if we make strong additions I think we can match last season's finish. Our post Christmas form was outstanding but continuing that would require the same good fortune with injuries and form that we enjoyed last season. Add in Europa league games and we're talking a very different set of circumstances. We don't have the squad depth to cruise through that and tackle the PL head on. Choosing our priority will determine league position I think because trying to go full pelt at both would not be wise as things stand.

Apart from City winning the league everything else looks just about up in the air to me.

I wager it will take less than 10 games for most of these expectations for the season to go out the window.

I can see one or two of the sides they have in 7-9 breaking the top 6 this season to be honest.

Been watching the International Champions Cup thats going on over here and I have to say that both Liverpool and Arsenal have got some very good talented youngsters, so if Arsenal can sort out their defensive problems, they could be a dark horse this season.

If we don't buy a minimum of 3 new players, don't see us finishing in the top ten.
Hard to replicate last season with the same squad.

Interesting to look back at what the bookies were saying last summer. Sheffield United unquestionably the surprise team of the season, and Liverpool were certainly not expected to out perform City by such a margin. Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd not as good as predicted and Leicester, Sheff Utd and maybe Wolves taking advantage of that.

Current prediction by the bookies for comparison

Liverpool
Man City
Leicester
Chelsea
Man Utd
Spurs
Wolves
Sheff Utd
Arsenal
Everton
Southampton
Burnley
Palace
Newcastle
Brighton
West Ham
Bournemouth
Watford
Villa
Norwich
