A touch of the deja vu about this one isn't there; 7 points clear of city last season them we played them and lost and that was so so crucial to the destination of the title, difference this time is it's at Anfield...and we have last season as a reminder of what happens if we don't win!
This is massive, its bigger actually than that. City will know 9 points to make up is huge vs a team that has lost 1 league game in about 46...equally we know we need to win it as it will be a big big blow to city and an absolutely massive lift for us, such a lift it could cary us to the title if we win.
Anfield will be like a wild beast and the team will.thrive from the energy. ..I cant fkn wait to hopefully rip city to shreds at the back
Note - City travel to Italy on Wednesday to play Atlanta while we play Gent on the Tuesday....another advantage for us, 24hrs extra to recover and we don't need to travel while City have to

Aguero rarely scores vs us at Anfield. ..think he has 1 (??)..also sane isn't playing g and he is a big miss for city in these games.
AOC and the likes of Lallana could be key..I think we can do them this time if I'm honest. They are weak at the back and in midfield defensively they are weak too.

GB, the point of taking each game as it comes is based on the fact that for starters, God knows which players even start next week.
Firstly Salah doesn’t look in good shape, Pep has confirmed Silva is seriously injured.
Secondly, a game against City is not your usual champion league night game, stakes are high and the players on both sides could get nervous, can’t predict how it will go.
A lot of people like to point to how Liverpool have smashed City in the past but in those games there was nothing on the line. City were comfortably a better team. Now things are different and the stakes are high for Liverpool.
Expect the first 10 minutes to be difficult and cagey. Little point thinking about that game now.

you are right goofy he did mention Mane diving. He also said just in case you missed it that Liverpool are a world class team and have shown like all great teams that winning with late goals consistently is not a fluke but the sign of champions. did you not hear that part?
