Who do you say had the biggest impact at United in there short time
And who would you have liked to have in their prime

Larson, persie or zlatan
All had some sort of impact but in your opinion who would come 1st 2nd 3rd

Process has pretty much summed up for me their impact while here but at their prime each were great players. I'd probably have Zlatan above RVP and Larsson, but that would be just above. Zlatan came to us quite late and played in a weak league. His goals masked his short comings in our team and made us a bit one dimensional as we ended up relying on him a lot more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit of an odd thread, in terms of ability

Zlatan
Larson
Rvp

Finishing:
This is hard, all were excellent, maybe rvp

Intelligence
Larson
Zlatan
Rvp

Impact
Rvp (had the longest)
Zlatan
Larson (didn't have much time and was what, 36?)

I think Larson gets written off too easily, he's by miles the most intelligent player out of all them. Was able to finish well and his link play was top notch. Zlatan is class, able to produce magic, rvp was a great finisher, but not as smart as the other two. All 3 were world class imo

I feel it’s difficult to know how good Larsson really was as he spent his peak years in Scotland. While the Scottish league was much stronger than it is now it still wasn’t a top league.

Yet he was excellent internationally, and for Barca (after peak), good for us and elevated Celtic right up. Top player, pure prem faced snobbery to assume otherwise.

Almost a shame he didn't, he was a really top player, so intelligent. Would have been great at Utd or Barca. Changed the CL final vs arsenal for Barca at what? 35?

Honestly can't remember larson.

Rvp to both questions for me.

That guy could pick a goal out of literally nothing. Absolute animal at his peak. Probably the best striker in the world at his peak, surpassing Ronaldo and Messi as a pure striker with absolute perfection of his striking ability with both feet, from any angle, volley, you name it.

Before anyone gets angry, I'm not saying he was a better player than those two, but in my opinion as a pure out an out striker he was the best around for those what, 2 or 3 years?

Some of the goals rvp scored for arsenal and us I don't even think Messi or ronaldo would think about attempting them.

RvP - not only did he help us grab a title with an average team, but the fact that he left LeArse as a skipper to join us was such a great insult to Arsene and the club in general. Back then the most hated destination was Highbury, and the whole thing felt fantastic for me, at least. It took balls. The 2 vikings were both very welcome additions, but weren't such a decisive factor - RvP is a club legend and attained that status in one season (the second season was something we'd all like to forget). Such was the appeal of the Great Sir Alex. When he left, most of RvP checked out as well.

I respect him staying at Celtic but would have like to see him move 2-3 years earlier. I always thought he was 31-32 when he won the CL with Barca. Maybe I’m wrong.

I thought he was a bit older. But yes, would have been great to see him at Barca or Utd earlier. Amazing he came back so good after that leg break too, changed his game as he'd lost pace and became a superbly intelligent player..

Ibra
Larsson

In terms of quality and value of the contribution to the team on the pitch.

I kinda prefer to reserve judgement on the other person listed as they were a gooner .....

..... and gooners at that time were cheats
