City

Very difficult game today against a side who we've struggled to take points from in recent times. I'm going into the game positive but still not optimistic. I think Frank has some big calls to make regarding personnel, the biggest being who starts at right back and who starts in midfield. I think a 3 of Kova, jorginho and kante could be very effective today, two are in great form and kante can really influence a game like this with his quality. After last time out of go for James to start but got a feeling lampard could go for the experience of Dave. Whether or not pulisic is fit could have a big impact because he's in great form and has really been a big threat in the last few games. Right now Im going for a 2-2 draw.

Oh FFS.

Jorginho's ran the game, one poor pass leads to a City goal. Huh

Let the scapegoating commence.

"Man City's possession figure of 46.74 today is the lowest recorded by a side managed by Pep Guardiola in any of his 381 top-flight matches in charge."

No mean feat going toe to toe with City and bettering a Pep side in possession....Takes some doing.
Proud of how far we've come and competed in such a short space of time to make it a close match.

Had we won today, that would have been our eighth consecutive away victory in all competitions (first-time in our history).

All the best for the rest of the season (bar the reverse fixture!) although we only had him for a season, big soft spot for Frank Lampard and wish him all the success on the touch line that he had on the pitch 🍻
