You haven't answered why the scout would have confronted Woodward.

Possibly they are only equivocal to you. Plenty of others seem content with the proofs.
Also not deeming him to be not doing a good job is not the same as hating him.
It's also interesting why you think he has done well when you look at the results of his efforts.

Finally you know just the same as the rest of us what goes on behind closed doors.

Scrub one of those not's

The disgruntled scout? I dont know. But we arent the only club who didnt sign De Jong, Upamenco or De Ligt.

The disgruntled scout? I dont know. But we arent the only club who didnt sign De Jong, Upamenco or De Ligt.

But the other clubs signed other good players, we didn't. That's the problem and the reason we are where we are now.

It was always going to be a struggle when SAF went.

This was compounded by the fact Gill went as well.

Then you have the fact that our huge loss (SAF & Gill) coincided with Liverpool and Spurs pullingnthirnfinger out and City and Chelsea continuing to make their wealth count.

You also have the issue that Ed can only appoint the best manager available at the time, which LVG and Jose were.

And Ed cannot be accused of not backing his managers

Then you need to consider that City (Financial doping) Barca (tax evasion) Juve (match fixing) Chelsea (transfer ban) Bayern (exec tax evasion)have all had huge scandals in recent years.

So, on balance, Ed hasnt done that bad.

You realise that by delegating and hiring a director, Ed could have done brilliantly. A DOF would make him look good.

1. I dont want a man in charge who appoints people to. Look good in front of the fans.

2. I think the need for a DOF is way overstated.
