Always wondered if it would catch on in the UK ? Always amazed how the UK adopted the Halloween thing since Ive been away..... Its massive here.... Bigger excuse for adults to party & get smashed up that the whole kids trick or treat thing

America has its own problems. Land of the unfree, home of the slave. I real eyes'ed that here in UK we are actually very much free. For instance you can get arrested for walking down the street with a beer in your hand? You can go to jail for loitering! Was told you never hang around, if the cops ask you tell them you're either coming or you're going. Laws are overkill there. If you owe money the government can literally just empty your bank account on the spot. Swings and roundabouts.

In a roundabout sort of way. Straight roads are one thing, but also the spacious width of the lanes are a pleasure and I do like driving automatic (not stick (shift))

News is manufactured. Have watched TV for years and thought I had escaped the "matrix" then along came YouTube and that took paranoia to a whole new level.
Even watching that BT ad during the West Ham game on stream gave me cause for concern (surveillance by drones on top of CCTV), etc and basically telling us in plain sight this is the future that's coming. Puts 'VAR' into perspective.

Whatever happened to making allowances for human error in the game? VAR is killing the game imo.

Talking about CCTV, it sometimes feels like every inch of this land, bar probably the Hebrides is covered by a CCTV!

Even these computers/phones that we actually pay top dollar I dont trust and have black PVC tape over the front facing "selfie" camera. However the MIC isnt blocked. "But if you have nothing to hide" the blind folk will say... that's neither here nor there. Privacy is man's most fundamental right regardless.

Even if we can't fight the powers that Be, above all we need to be aware. At least we here are distracted by a dog with less fleas, some people I know, even close family members, grown adults, waste their life away "sharing" nonsensical drivel on Facebook and such.
