With rudiger set to return in the next couple of games who do you think will partner him? Early on I would have backed tomori but it seems like zouma is the only ever present at the back. Do you think a zouma rudiger partnership would work? Personally would still favour tomori as his partner, both lighting in quick strong and got that aggressive streak in them but I think zouma doesn't really deserve to drop out.

Ah ok, I didn’t see your game. Perhaps Lampard is trialling him on that side for when Rudiger returns?

Current management rating AC who still happens to be young (with the biggest upside), is good enough for me. He's going to exponentially improve under Frank

That'd be brilliant

It is. Especially as he's our best CB.

I doubt Christensen’s mum even believes he’s Chelsea’s best centre back.

He might not even be the best CB on our bench...

Christensen reminds me of Lindelof. I think they’re too weak to be top cb’s in the prem, they both get bullied so easily.

Good comparison actually, and I have faith in both to grow into the league. I really like Lindelof personally.
With Christensen it's also a bit psychological I think. He hasn't hit the form he had in Germany for us but he was our best CB in 17/18 right up until his mistake against Barcelona - and hasn't been quite the same since.

I don’t, Lindelof just hasn’t got enough about him to become a top cb in this league. Especially playing next to Harry Maguire. Unfortunately for us we’re lumbered with the £80m oaf, so Lindelof will be the one to be replaced first.

Christensen just doesn’t seem to defend with any authority or composure, hence the Lindelof comparison. When you’ve got physically imposing cb’s like Rudiger, Tomori and Zouma it’s not surprising he struggles for game time at Chelsea now.

Christensen was highly regarded in Bundesliga whilst on loan at B. Monchengladbach. Showed good promises to be a top defender, several top clubs were after his signature a couple of seasons ago.
He’s a bit fragile, and prone to injuries. But Frank seems to trust him though. He’s been injured for good parts, hence he’s not played that much this season.
