I will start of by saying this.
I was underwhelmed when we appointed him as caretaker, and I didn't think we should have made the decision to appoint him until the end of the season.
So, down to the gist of my thoughts.
There is little point sacking him now. I really don't think anyone will do much better with the state of our squad and that goes for Poch.
But he doesn't help himself. He and Ed between them screwed up the summer window. I would lay most of the blame on Ed here as Ed has previous for being useless. If we don't strengthen in this window then I can't see a way forward for him.
His insistence on playing 4-2-3-1 is not working and it will not long term, I feel. And he doesn't seem to be able to motivate the players when we play crap teams. This is an issue.
One thing he isn't though is clueless, which I see far to often on here.
I am sort of at the crossroads with Ole now. I really want to see him succeed and he really has been dealt a rotten hand of cards what with the quality of players available and injuries that have been long term.
But, if as I suspect, this window is a failure, and we continue to decline then we really will have to part ways with him sooner rather than later.
One bonus so far this season is the youngsters getting game time and McT's progress.

Why Moyes was hounded from day one for not being worth of being United manager whilst Solskjaer is given a free pass?
Simple - Solskjaer has a (half) Manchester accent and scored a few goals as a player (which has nothing to do with his credentials as a manager) for the club
