It seems longer than a week since the Reading draw, not sure why, maybe itβs the lack of signings in what is a slow transfer window for most clubs? Or, maybe itβs not:
1 Signing: Birmingham, Brentford, B City, Cardiff, Preston, QPR, S Weds, Stoke and Wigan
2 Signings: Barnsley and Charlton
3 Signings: Hull and Swansea
4 Signings: Fulham, Huddersfield and Middlesbrough
Anyway, still plenty of time to go and without injuries, we should be able to get through the next three games with at least six points.
Luton at home are first up and this should be an academic three points. We have no injuries, no fatigue and a good run / league position to back us up.
Forest are eighth in the form table over the last six. Ten points from eighteen with those ten points in the last four. We look to have turned a corner. Luton are bottom of the same table. One solitary draw with one point.
So, Iβm going for 3-1 Forest. Grabban, Lolley and Worrall.

Hope Lolley’s coming into some form for the second half of season.

He could be massive
Win against Reading and we’re 2 off automatics - well 3 if you take GD into account ππΌ

I also think this is where a large, quality squad will really now come into its own - if we could just get another decent striker in π³

Yep, no idea why we play like that first half Rev. Seems to happen in literally every home game. Seems like manager has no idea either. I guess it’s confidence?

Never heard of him, but if he’s the guy on Wiki - then his stats are very underwhelming - hopefully he’s not on our books π³

The commentary team on Radio Nottm questioned the manager I think that they said that Diakhaby, a French winger from Huddersfield, was almost certain to come to us.

I heard that too. Hudders fans very glad to see him go. Doesn’t sound like we’re prepared to fork out for a top player in case it doesn’t work. Not sure if we have option to bring Walker back?

Luton are the relegated archetype. Work as hard as they can to get a goal up and hold onto it, but the second they conceded all confidence evaporates.
We gave Luton a 15 minute head start, went down a goal, and still found the quality to comfortably beat them, because once lolleys first went in, Luton looked beat already, at 1-1.
Sow coming back in has given lolley licence to run toward again and he’s been due a few goals. Season defining run of games coming up now
