Morning, Mornin. Thanks for the post.
As you say, The Reds ten points from four games, the Hatters lost their last five and rock bottom; it can only go one way!
Oops, actually one point from their last five games, actually make that one point from seven games (and knocked out the cup)
Never mind the win, we could really do with hitting a bagful to help our GD especially after we took such a disastrous hit against Sheff Wed
In an ideal world we would have this one sown up after an hour with a hat trick from Grabban who would then make way for Mighten to come on and score.
Form and my heart says an easy win for Forest, But I know Luton are going to pinch it with the winner in the last five minutes. (I hope that jinxes it for them though)
Samba
Jenks Fig Worrall Ribeiro
Watson
Cash Silva Sow Lolley
Grabban
Luton will turn up with a game plan, we can all work out what it will be in the first half.
Forest need to keep possession make them run, wear them out and not concede.
If we can do that through out the first half, we should run out 2-0 winners, I hope!
Leeds miss a penalty and end up losing - great result if we can capitalise
We all know we’ve struggled against sides that come and defend so it’s gonna be a tough game regardless of league positions.
Beat Luton tomorrow, and then our game in hand, and we’ll be 2 points off automatics
Crazy how we could be so close after such dodgy results
But that totally sums up this league I think
Like so many games recently this is definitely winnable, but this is also Forest, therefore anything is possible. I actually think we will win this and am going for a 3-1 win. Assuming we get Luton under pressure early on and grab an early goal we should be able too press on and make home advantage count. This is the sought of game Carvalho should start in, I know he’s had loads of chances, but assuming he isn’t moving on this Jan, then somehow we need to build up his confidence, and game time is the only way to do that. It would nice to be in a position that we could rest one or two later on, with Reading in mind come Wednesday.
Think we might nick todays game but prob lose on Wednesday. Can’t see us winning by much as there seems a lack of confidence at home. Luton will be well organised and hard to beat. We could do with an early goal for once!
I think if we go behind we will struggle again. Would take 3 or 4 points from the next two games I think. Of course 6 is better but not sure that’s where we are at yet.
I think Carvalho could be most effective coming off the bench when they start to tire and leave a bit of space.
Team news just in:
Samba;
Cash, Worrall, Dawson, Ribeiro;
Watson, Sow, Silva, Lolley;
Adomah, Grabban.
Subs:
Smith, Carvalho, Jenkinson, Semedo,
Ameobi, Yates, Chema.

Really don’t like us on sky sports. Mentioned the points gap between 2nd and 3rd was as big as 11 points at one point but now Brentford and Fulham are coming out of the pack to catch them up. Never mind the fact that if we win our two games in hand we will go above both of them and be only 2 points behind automatic places
Morning lads, heavy frost down here!
I hesitate saying this, but after listening to the pre-match banter on radio Nottingham, the radio reception is still available. I am listening to the match live!!! Normally after pre-match I get a loop telling me that because of restricted rights, I can't listen to the live stream. Maybe the guy that normally turns the switch didn't realise it's a midday kick off and is having a Sunday lunch pint. More Sunday midday kick offs I say!!
Same old story really. Always concede first against these teams. Now it’s a nightmare to get back in the game as they will just sit back.
Oh dear. 0-1. We really need to wake up
It’s always like this at home. We just never get going and we allow the away side to play.
Another game where the away side are time wasting in the first half!
