While admin is busy beavering away to give electric vehicles their own section, I thought I would post this to gather peoples thoughts.
In 15 years sales of new petrol, Diesel and surprisingly Hybrid will be banned. To be honest by then EV's will be a no brainer, So this is hardly as big a news as some people imagine.
UK to ban petrol and diesel by 2035

The majority of people sit about and eat takeaways, surely we can be harnessing the vast amounts of methane they produce, to power our vehicles? Maybe a tube beneath the passenger seat that leads to a tank to store the methane? Maybe a hybrid methane/electric?

Ollie, Hydrogen is an electric vehicle,
But you are obviously being silly. But it gave me a chance to make that point, as I forgot to put it into my previous post. So thanks
I repeat Hydrogen cars are electric,

I should also point out Hydrogen cars are electric, but horribly inefficient.

Also as well as the methane, pedals are not really required in electric cars, could easily just be hand controlled, so as well as harnessing the methane for the obese population, you could also have an exercise bike contraption instead of the pedals so the tubbies could be exercising whilst producing energy to help fuel the car. Or if it is an fully autonomous vehicle, just have actual bikes within the car so people can cycle whilst it is being autonomously driven.

Also how much time is wasted on public transport when it could be put to better use? You literally don't have to do anything on trains. Let's say you are on the train for an hour each way, every day. There could be a gym carriage where you can get an hour in the gym before work. There could be a production carriage where you produce goods for reduced fares. A shaaggin wagon so if you did not have time to have intimate time with your wife or significant other, you could fit it in, literally, in there on the way to work. There are so many more useful ways that your time could be spent rather than sitting on your phone and coughing on people.

National Express will never buy another diesel, as it begins moving it's fleet to electric.

Come on admin, there is so much stiff going on in the EV world. Give me an EV section. I'm only posting a tiny fraction of what is happening.
