I vividly remember this time last year, especially on these boards, the majority of posters were getting very confident and excited at the prospect of.....how can I say this.....obtaining membership to an alternative league.
There were plenty of doubters too, revelling in the fact that those same optimistic people were only going ahead and jinxing the team.
Well, we all know the outcome, and are fully aware of the dreadful fallout of failing.
This year I’ve noticed the talk is a lot more reserved. I think a lot on here are wary of saying something that might set the ball rolling on the boo boys thinking we’re tripping ourselves up again.
After 3 consecutive 1-0 wins, we can certainly be happy about 9 points and 3 clean sheets, but I know, we know, this all has the potential to rip us to pieces again..
So all I can say is, I’m hopeful again this year of a favourable outcome at the end of the season. It has been a long time in the making, and I think it would make a lot of people happy, especially on here.
So, after talking in code as best I could, I’d like to wish you all the best in these final 2 months of the season, and especially LUFC. I hope the club achieves its goals.
Nervous optimism?

Els,
Roberts scored winner against QPR at home. He's a class player and would be a starter if he was fit.

Well when I say Bamford gets a lot of stick, I’m not necessarily talking about the crowd at the games, I’m talking about certain people on here who have quite simply seen enough of him.
The simple facts are that we have one fit striker right? So IF he got injured, there doesn’t seem to be a clear and obvious back up? Obviously Bielsa probably has a plan....but we are not privy to that...just asking thoughts that’s all👍

I got you mate, don't worry
Roberts would my shout if fit.. but in all honesty, Costa would prob be prime candidate for Bielsa.
whats actually wrong with big Kev? - how injured is he?

Rev, 33pts to play for, but third place has to win at least 6 just to take us!..
I said last night I think it was we have to do the right thing and take one game at a time!..
Thinking ahead of each game takes your mind of the game you have to play, so, any win for us is more pressure on third!..

Totally agree Germany - 3 points tomorrow is all that we should focus on.

Think the minute that Wakey stated we will be up by March our fate was sealed, he was the kiss of death last season will be the same this year.

Roberts has been on the bench for every game but one since mid January, clearly the assertion that he would be starting if he was fit is a bit wide of the mark.

Roberts/Harrison would play up top.
Costa not strong enough for me.
