The way many were saying that england will send the new lot, seems unlikely after they lost to the inexperianced west indies team. Ok I think this is the possible squad that will be picked.
1 Cook (cpt)
2 Kieswetter
3 pieterson (Though his average has been just a mere 23 over the last 2 years, he is englands best player. well that is what england fans say. Jokes apart. if kp fails in this odi series his place will be in danger for future odi series)
4 Trott
5 Bell
6 Bopara
7 Bairstow
8 Samit patel
9 swann ( man to watch out for) Im certainly waiting to see how he will bowl in spin friendly pitches and how the indian will bat against him
10 tim bresnan
11 Dernbach
12 Finn
13 anderson
Dont know other players of the england team so will leave it to this.
England squad to be announced tomorrow

not going to get into a discussion about bell again , you know my views on him as an ODI player
i do agree our batting against spin is a worry however , i have been saying that for awhile now and its one of the reservations i still have about trott as well tbh

KP plays spin better than Bell.
I would go with
Cook
Kies
Bell(lets give him a go at 3,if he fails then thats the end of his ODI Career,if he does well it can only be a good thing going forward)
KP
Ravi
Bairstow
Bresnan
Borthwick
Swann
Rotate Finn,Dernbach and Jimmy such that each of them gets 4 games.
Reserves
Stokes/Buttler
Trott
Briggs
Woakes
I honestly think Patel is very very predictable and will get whacked by good players of spin.
A couple of good matches on a dustbowl against the worst players of spin in the world arent enough to convince me.
Borthwick,on the other hand, even though he bowled against the same opposition impressed me a lot the other day with his variations. He has got a very good 'wrong-un' ie the googly. He also has got very good changes in pace.He gets drift.
Patel hasnt done anything of note with the bat at international level.Bresnan has a better intl record.Bres at 7,Borthwick at 8 and Swanny at 9 is enough batting IMO on flat pitches and also given the quality or the lack of it in the Indian bowling attack.

very Good decision. How could I forget Meaker from my squad?
Meaker is a better one day bowler than Woakes.
And delighted to see my favourite player KP in the squad.

I would also leave Patel out.
Swann, Borthwick and Briggs is excuting, full of variation and in the latter 2, very youthful.

The same "new lot" that beat them by 10 wickets?
Also, i blame the South African youth system for Pieterson's average of a mere 23 over the last 2 years.
