When there's good news I report on it, there just isn't much good news coming out right now if you hadn't noticed.

Lost with this one. What has ended? Sport will resume without spectators, what is surprising about that?

Professional sport that relies on spectators will die if it has to wait until a vaccine.
Other sports that aren’t so dependant on paying spectators and can survive on just tv money could take their place.

Have you been following the progress of remdesivir, which I told you about a few weeks ago?
For those who are interested, I recently learned about this website:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
Of course, it relies on data provided by each country, but I find it interesting in spite of its limitations.

Are you familiar with the New York woman who borrowed $600k against her home to buy Personal Protective Equipment for medical staff?
There is a GoFundMe Cmpaign to raise funds for this program but she went ahead and borrowed the money to do this ahead of time.

Is there a link we can read more about this? Does she need some help perhaps?

Jonny I knew about the trials already, you’d gotten excited about a leaked conversation and they would give no official statement.
They have since :
”Remdesivir is not yet licensed or approved anywhere globally and has not yet been demonstrated to be safe or effective for the treatment of COVID-19.“
These are such early days and as days before vaccines are incredibly hard to create but Remdesivir is actually an anti viral.

Where did I write I was "excited?" I shared news demonstrating progress.
This is not a "magic bullet" fix but it is positive news.
Simples.
