It makes me wonder what people thought about Harrison when he first came to us!..

A player we want to keep now!..

Poveda is now working with our youngsters and Bielsa's team have a good habit of bringing the best out of average as we should know!..

You never know, our coaching team is better than its been for years, and if anything Poveda might be just a little more than people on the outside can see!..

I think Poveda will end up moving on without playing a single minute. Might be wrong, but let’s face it, he was a punt. Also looked about 5ft 4 tall on the sideline, so would need be fooking good to make it at this level.

i had seen harrison play live for ny against my home club and actually remembered him. i've always thought he'd come good.can only hope poveda does too.

I cant but help be concerned about the amount of youth academies that kid bounced around.

20 and 1 senior game too is a slight worry.

He cant be on 20k a week can he, what has he actually shown that makes anyone think he is worth that?

The full story behind the reason he has had so many clubs is actually quite reasonable and is not what it seems.

Involves parents that would push their son to get the best opportunities possible when younger. This led to moving to better academies where possible and led to Barcelona. He was forced out of Barcelona by the UEFA/FIFA ban that was impossed on Barcelona following their illegal payments/purchasers of foreign players under the legal age.

I believe he then chose to move to Brentford but when Man City come calling it's hard to turn down.

It's been since February when I read this so may not be 100% accurate but it's pretty close.

Does not mean he is a superstar but means that amount of clubs doesn't signal trouble causer.

I believe he left Brentford because they limited their academy or something, and released a lot of their graduates. He was snapped up pretty quickly by City, where he clearly impressed somewhat.

If you have Spotify you should give ‘The Phil Hay Show’ a listen. A new one will have been released this morning. Not much insight into current affairs at the moment for obvious reasons but throughout the season it’s been really good to find out what’s really going on from someone that talks to the people involved and sees a fair bit of it as it happens.

Hmmmmmm listen to the bloke that’s on the gantry every game & regularly at Thorpe Arch or the stadium to witness events. Or a bloke that’s not been to Elland road for probably best part of 2 years??? Tough one
