Free PS+ games for July

NBA20 got panned because of the focus on micro transactions, it was available for £5 a couple of weeks back. No idea if the gameplay is up to much.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a brilliant game, will be tempted to play through it again but still haven't played Shadow.

NBA 2K games used to be the best sports game out there. The career mode was always excellent and the gameplay was better than all the EA Sports games.

Then they made it impossible to get good on it unless you spent loads of money to buy virtual coins. Ruined it.

May download it for free to see how it is, but will not buy on of their games again unless they get rid of the need for the microtransactions.

2K are supposed to be releasing an NFL game later this year. Normally I'd really look forward to that, but imagine they will make it reliant on spending money like their NBA one, so will probably stick with Madden.

Are the Madden games good them Tam? I used to play them in the 90's and am an NFL fan. I say every year that I'm going to get Madden but never do.

Haven't played a Madden since 2002 with Mos Def on the soundtrack. Back when NFL Europe was still a thing.

This years was the first one I have played for a long time. Since the days of the PS2 I think.

I've really enjoyed it to be honest. Got loads of hours out of the career mode on it.

I'm half way through Shadow. It's absolutely huuuuge and the graphics, as always, are amazing.

I can't wait for a good PS5 Tomb Raider. I've loved the series since the very first one on the original Playstation. That game had some amazing jaw dropping moments.

I'm half way through Shadow. It's absolutely huuuuge and the graphics, as always, are amazing.

I can't wait for a good PS5 Tomb Raider. I've loved the series since the very first one on the original Playstation. That game had some amazing jaw dropping moments.

I always liked and played the original trilogy but was never any good at them just used to use the various cheats to level skip and get all the weapons etc or mess around in the mansion. Think it was a combination of my age at the time and that they could be very unforgiving/unclear as to where to go.

My lad has Shadow so will have to borrow it off him. Heard mixed things about it but loved the other 2 in the reboot so not going to skip the third.

What's Shadow?
