At least I remembered that Derby County had a game on..........you know what its like, some posters are all over their rival's match thread because it's their big game out and then forget they have a game tonight
I sometimes think that our play-off adventures were more to do with extending the season and having something to play for. However the season, of course has already been extended and even if we dare to dream, them a we won't even get to spend a morning in Covent Garden dodging beer cans and paying £6.10 for a pint!!!
So, saying do we want to get there? It got harder after the anti-football break specialists, on Saturday, stifled a creative Derby, should have put the game to bed but didnt realise that that you had to wait for the final whistle before you stopped playing.
I spoke to an 'authorative' employee of Birmingham City (formerly Crystal Palce and Notts County) who said that Florest are described as 'the best 5hit team in the Championship' which perfectly encapsualtes what they are all about. So, good luck to them.
Another influential player not available as Waggy tried to exact revenge for Matty Clarke but then paid the penalty. Added to Wisdom's shennanigans in Liverpool 8 then maybe this gallant charge will peter out as some players are being asked to play alot of games in not alot of days.
Anyway, team news when someone posts it.

Sorry, back to Sibleygate - do you not think that the WBA player - O'Shea - should be cited for simulation and let's face it the lowest of the low on a football pitch, deliberately getting Sibley sent off? Or am I still living on a kibbutz?

You lived on a kibbutz? Well that explains a lot!
Sibleygate - I reckon be grateful our boy got off and move on. No time for recriminations, we have places to be!

If Sibley's surname was Souness, the West Brom lad would still have a search party out looking for his bo||ocks.

I have an amazing true Souness related story. Remind me before the next game.

Heb, you were going to tell us your Souness story.....

I have a friend who once addressed a group with:”And I’ll tell you something amazing!” and then he forgot what it was. He has never remembered to this day.

Before you write him off completely....
Before last night, CM was the most productive attacker in the Championship this season, with 10 goals & 6 assists in 1649 minutes of play.
Minutes per goal or assist:
103.1: 🔥CHRIS MARTIN🔥
107.3: Matt Smith
112.3: Aboubakar Kamara
113.6: Steve Mounie
115.9: Bryan Mbeumo
116.3: Charlie Austin
117.5: Lee Tomlin
126.5: Nahki Wells
Well worth another contract, in my book

I would give him another contract. Think we need someone different though.

A fit Marriott would give us something different, (if such an animal exists)?

Souness was nothing but a bully, he could give it out but never take it when someone gave it him back, very much like Bryan Robson..

Scouse, Marriott has been with us 2 years now and we have only seen glimpses of the player we hoped he would be. It's hard to know whether this is bad luck with niggling injuries or something else. If he can do what he did against Leeds on a regular basis then he could make a big difference. I also wonder whether he might play well with Martin but Cocu doesn't seem to like 2 up front and with only Rooney and Bird in midfield we would be in danger of being over-run.
