Will our strange season fizzle out with a whimper tomorrow or will we be able to continue to defy the odds and reach the play offs?
With a fully-fit Keogh, Bielik and Marriott how many more points would we have had by now? Keogh and Clarke would have been an excellent pairing with Wisdom challenging Bogle for the right back spot where the latter sometimes looks as though he needs some competition to keep him on his toes. Bielik might have slowed Bird’s progress or allowed Rooney to play further forward (therefore slowing Sibley’s progress) but at the very least he would have been a very good sub to keep Bird and Rooney sharp. And surely Marriott would have thrived off Rooney’s passing and bagged a hatful by now.
The season may end with might-have-beens if we fall short of play-offs but as I type Cardiff are losing. This could still go to the very end of the season. One win from tomorrow or Saturday might still keep us well in the hunt. How vital might Forest’s generosity on Saturday prove to be?
Forest weren't generous vidal, but a combination of Fozzie, Bird and Hamer certainly were.
Hamer
Bogle Evans (Wisdom???) Clarke Forsyth
Bird Shinnie
Sibley Rooney Holmes
Martin
Can Shinnie last a full game without getting SO?
............. so can he last 65-70 mins before he gets a yellow?
Wanna pick a different team?
Have we exceeded the Florest match thread count yet?
Damn you Scouse, you have outwitted me. Of course we have.
The Florest match thread count can never exceed the IQ score of all their posters combined.
Shinnie will get a yellow, then he will get a final warning off the ref, then we sub him for Knight. Masterplan.
It's being confirmed, the dogs are crap.
Hope they get promoted.
Quality assessment of the Forest match thread count by the way. Suddenly it all makes sense. It does often get into double figures when you contribute though, Scouse.
We only have to beat WBA 5 2 and we are in the top 6.
That’s potentially a really big result at this stage of the season. If Cardiff win tonight and we lose tomorrow then almost certainly it’s season over. Now we don’t lose ground on Cardiff even with a defeat. Cardiff play Fulham this weekend. After playing us they go away to Warnock’s Boro. Swansea are close but still need to play Leeds and Forest. Ooh it’s tight.
Wouldn't be bothered if we didn't make it.
Simple buzz of being involved when none of us expected it 1 down to Wigan says it all.
Certain had the season not ended, the way we were playing before lockdown, we would have made top 6 and might have been promoted by now.
