I am not AS into games as perhaps I once was, however, still find the time to get through a dozen or so of the big titles every year.
Recently, with lockdown, I've been on a bit of a roll and finally got through my backlog, which included Nioh and Dark Souls III DLC.
With that, I went against my current trend of waiting for discounts and forked over £55 for Ghost of Tsushima. What do people make of it?
I must say, I think its the prettiest game I've ever played. Occasionally, you halt quite awestruck at what Sucker Punch have managed to achieve. Has anyone played anything of equal / better graphical fidelity on a console? Haven't played TLOU2 yet, but I imagine that's up there, knowing Naughty Dog; RDR2 also looked amazing.
Back to Ghost: I really like the combat and it can definitely offer you a challenge on the hardest mode; a challenge that can make you consider diving into a Mongol base all-swords-swinging and adopt a more tactful approach, taking out archers et al. initially.
I do NOT like the main character, Jin. Too respectable and mundane. Needs a chip on his shoulder or to go through a phase of sake-dependent living for a few months to add a bit more substance and greyness to his character.
I feel the world could be slightly more mysterious / creepy too. Something like Nioh's revenant system would have been awesome! Having said that, I'm only about 10 hours in, it could pick up.
So far, difficult not to give the game 9/10 for what they've managed to achieve in combat and display, though, its a skewed 9 in that they've gone over and above in terms of graphics that drags up some other lackluster elements of the overall score such as world depth and Jin.

Blighttown! Forgot about that nightmare...
I'd agree with your rankings bar Sekiro, which I've yet to play. Also never played Demon's Souls, so buzzing for that on PS5 and really hope its a launch title.
Re BB2, I'd imagine they'll make it given the critical and relative commercial success of the first.
At the moment, they're making a game called Elden Ring. No news on when it's going to be released, but they got George RR Martin to write some of the history and lore to the game! I think there's a trailer knocking about

That’s the one I was thinking of! Played Witcher 3 recently which was a great game, really good, but it couldn’t do combat like souls games, no one can.
Looks interesting that elder ring, not sure I’ll be purchasing a ps5 any time soon, but when I eventually do that and the demon souls remake will be right up there on my list.

Just realised it’s PS4 the Elden ring, tempted to slap that in as a pre order, something I rarely ever do

i couldnt get into Nioh.. it was free on the ps4 a couple months back - gave it a two hour play and it didnt grab me at all.
the again neither have any of the dark souls game.
bloodborne on the other hand, i absolutely loved.
ive also got ghost and find it a tad boring but my nephew is in love with the game so are a couple of my mates..
This to me shows the value of Playstation. The sheer variety of gaming on offers, means everyone is catered for, and they are not afraid to innovate and create new gaming experiences.

Ole, would recommend giving VaatiVidya a watch on youtube if you haven't already. Covers all things SoulsBorne and goes into the lore and hidden secrets in the games

Ok, watched some people playing it, seen enough to buy it. Visuals are simply stunning in places. It's time for me to enjoy them in person.

A little clarification, it's a multiplayer option coming for the game.

The last part of Cherno's reaction to the game. I will point out that it is on his new channel titled More Cherno, which is dedicated more specifically to reaction videos.
