Well this is already a long running saga with plenty of stories and opinions on the matter.
The reports that I have read indicate that the player wants to join us and personal terms are not an issue.
The major sticking point is the valuation by Leverkusen and I can't see Marina bidding anywhere near the reported £90m asking price.
So unless Leverkusen can lower their price by at least between £15m and £20m, then regrettably, I don't think the deal will happen.

One last prediction, for now. I noticed yesterday that Burnley had signed a new keeper, maybe Pope will be signed in the next week or two as well.

Brummie, they signed Will Norris from Wolves. Sadly, I am not so sure it looks like a first choice GK signing

Maybe not and I don't follow Burnley closely but I expect they had as many keepers as they needed last season and now they have a surplus, they don't have the resources of some so I expect if one is in, there must be w out, it may not be Pope but I am not aware of any back up keepers leaving yet either.
