Tevez - just leave English football now!

Apparently Tevez has now spit his dummy out again and refused to even play after being called upon by Mancini to save City in Munich. I'm no fan of City but to do this to your team, fans and manager is the height of disrespect.

Get out of the Premiership and English football Tevez, you and your disgustingly high wages and childish behaviour aren't wanted in England anymore before you besmirch the ever decreasing respect that the Premiership has world over. We don't need any more over paid nancies like you ruining our league and letting fans down any more - adios

Quit your whining melton.

Your club has got what it deserves.

A mercenary getting paid well over the odds to play to... what's your average attendance. 30-35k?

What's more, this will only prove to be the tip of the ice-berg too.

Never mind... they're just following your example and turning their backs on you.

Let's just forget it Lexington. you obviously don't want to argue the point as you don't have the knowledge of either your own club or football in general to back up your point.

I thought Tevez made a perfectly sensible decision...I couldn't see the point of going on either.

More like it's late and I've not the inclination to get into a lengthy debate with someone who apparently has no qualm over the direction their club has taken in the last few years.

That's fair enough I guess. Without the oil money you were never going to get anywhere near achieving anything.

To be honest, I've nothing against City fans.

This is as much to do with the direction football has taken generally, as it is to do with any one club.

There certainly is an element of karma about this whole Tevez situation though.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out with the media too now that their new darlings appear to be in disarray.

I don't think you could call us media darlings, surely that is still reserved for our neighbours!

I can understand the feeling that this is the direction football is going (and tevez as the modern player), but the point I was making is that outside investment into football has happened every decade since football began - it is nothing new, nor has that ruined football before. There are plenty of other factors for the state of football at the moment, not just rich owners.

You will be hard pressed to find any city fan
who does not like our owners. Not just because of the investment into the club, but the investment into the area that simply wouldn't have happened from any council or uk taxpayer perspective.

You could also say that paying stupid money for adebayor, clichy, nasri and toure has been a big contributing factor to your profit figures as well over the last two years, so you have benefited as well, remember!
