62m + 8m add-ons: Kai Havertz OFFICIALLY🔵!

Splendid work Marina Granovskaia

Havertz' third-man movements/runs are going to be a marvel to behold!

Having that spatial awareness to find space in the box is a powerful tool and armory to possess.
The art of third-man late arrivals into the box has been lost at this club (after Frank left).

That was one of a few things missing in abundance from our attacking play.

Can be truly destructive on defensive structures.
Mount & Pulisic to a degree improved in that regard, but Havertz another level of harness

Learning from the best, the mαster, the one who used his BROBDINGNAGIAN powers of persuasion in convincing Havertz...to the extent that this highly coveted generational talent forced the hand of his childhood club joining Frank' vision, direction, revolution and fresh ever developing culture!
Super Frank

'It should’ve haven been made mandatory imo. Anyway, there no way the club would let them sign him with just an option without extending first.'

Milan were never going to agree on loan with obligation to buy, this is the only solution.
The alternative is Bakayoko stays at Chelsea doesn't play at all (rots), picks up substantial wages, and any potential transfer fee depreciates significantly more.
That alternative is not in the best interests of the club, from a business perspective.

Bakayoko has two years left on his contract currently, doesn't have to extend contract.
Would only need to extend if he was into his final year of contract this summer.

Next summer If we can't find a buyer for Bakayoko at the price demanded.
I think we'll cut our losses, to avoid losing him for free.

It's in the best interest of Chelsea that Bakayoko does well on-loan, then we'll have some leverage on holding out for a reasonable fee.

At least we're getting loan fees and getting his wages paid. In the end, our losses won't be as much as they seem.

Bakayoko needs a permanent deal more than we do IMO. It might not be the best business approach but I'd take the loss of a few million if it meant he could go somewhere he feels valued/get the Chelsea 'experience' off his back.

Besides the obvious flaws in his technical game that don't need repeating he seems like a classic confidence player to me, and until he's off our books he won't be able to move on with his career properly. It's the courteous thing to do.

lol - it sounds sappy I know but he'll never play for us again, everyone knows this, so just let the guy move on with his career. If someone gave us between 15-20mil just take it.

I agree with you actually. He's not made any trouble for us, he's willing to go here and there on loan. There's no point on having him on the books just in case we take Mourinho back as coach!
