Much cheaper than first thought as well super deal. Now sell Barclay Christensen Moses Van ginkel.

Hudson-Odoi will finally have a genuine challenge and threat when it comes to playmaking, with the signings of Havertz & Ziyech.

Measured excellence every single one of those passes, crosses and diagonals/switch of play.
Invariably produces high-quality key passes & clear-cut chances, on a plate for attackers in and around the box.
Supremely efficient side I expect us to be this season, will convert those type of high-quality big chances...

Those three are comfortably our most complete (creative) attackers.
Callum at the top. Outstanding variation, decision-making and strength to his (progressive) play, anywhere on the pitch.
Closely followed by Havertz & Ziyech third.

Callum (19)
Havertz (20)
Mount (21)
Pulisic (22)
Tammy (22)
Werner (24)
Ziyech (27)

Blessed with an embarrassment of riches in attacking positions and more importantly going into the season with a couple of talented LEFT-FOOTED attackers (one elite upcomer and one into his theoretical prime age) for balance and to change the dynamic, yonks since that happened (long overdue).
All pulling & pushing together to elevate each other and ultimately win honours in future. Healthy competitive environment.
Not. A. Player. With. Tunnel. Vision. In. Sight!

This might turn out to be our most productive and aggressive transfer window since 2003, with some similarities (purchasing from Dutch league Robben - Ziyech, French Rennes Cech - Mendy, PL Bridge - Chilwell).

No lasting damaging injuries to hamper and derail our path this season, touch wood.

Very good signing at a reasonable price for that level of quality

Learning from the best, the mαster, the one who used his BROBDINGNAGIAN powers of persuasion in convincing Havertz

Yep the £62 million rising to £70 million was reported earlier and seemed fanciful. Since deal completion it's been pretty much universally reported as 80 million euro rising to 100 million euro, which would tie in with your figure, after currency translations

Anyways spending over 200 million, pressure is on for Chelsea to win the league.

Keep telling yourself this lads, £70m all in. BBC, Ornstein, Law, Kinsella all reporting it.

I've read from £68-72m over various sources. Even Sky have revised down to 71m and are reporting him as the second biggest signing in our history.

Yep they've all given an initial fee. The only website that gives the overall fee, including add-ons is the Guardian

Let's hope we can sell a few players and get good money for them so we can buy a top keeper and a top centre back.

I think Marina deserves a statue for negotiating that price down to 71.6m all in.

We have already sold at host of players....Pasalic. Morata, Hazard, Aina, Luiz, Da Silva, Kalas, Palmer.

More will be off the wage bill soon enough.

posted on 4/9/20

Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zappacosta will be difficult to sell but their wages will be removed.

There are plenty of sources if you bother looking, even Sky have revised their numbers though as yet they are still quoting slightly high at 75k or to be more accurate up to 75k with add ons as they seem keen to hang on to the most expensive Chelsea transfer to date.
