Initial reports were €80m euros + €20m euros, which would’ve been £90m all in. This is €80m euros all in, £72m.

I’ve been following this transfer for what feels like 13 years now mate, trust me on this

Fair enough, I took "72m + add ons" to mean "72m and more in add ons" as opposed to "72m including add ons" but yes you're right

Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zappacosta will be difficult to sell but their wages will be removed.

Sky Sports are reporting it as a flat £75 million fee:

Wow.

It is been widely reported by many respected media outlets in the UK and Germany that it is £72m including add ons.

Sky are saying 75m including add ons. So we can safelyy say its between £72m and 75m including add ons.

But what really matters is that we have the player signed up for 5 years.

The €160 million we got from Real Madrid for Hazard more than covers it

Yep.
Bakayoko for one, move to Milan is about to happen. They'll pay €3m loan fee and cover his wages.

Sarr looks like he's joining Leverkusen on-loan (as part of the deal for Havertz). £5m loan fee from that, allegedly.

Then we've got Moses, Drinkwater, Rahman, Zappacosta, Kenedy and possibly Van Ginkel (if fit enough) who will either leave on-loan or permanently eventually.

Isn't it funny that the media are reporting maximums of between 70 and 75 million but all the rival supporters are talking 90 million. Bitter? Even if it's 90 or 100m, he's a player who was identified and who is wanted. Good enough for me. If it really is 70m - bargain!

Anyone who is saying 90 to 100 million needs to produce a credible source to back that claim up. Sky Sports are saying a total fee of 75 million so I'll take it as no more than that.

Baka’s contract expires in 2 years time. Apparently, thr deal includes a €30m option to buy after the loan. With 1 year left in his contract I am not sure Milan will be keen to exercise it. Which raises the question, what’s the point of including this clause ?

This is standard procedure when loaning to Serie A club, option to buy always included especially on a player that the club are desperately trying to do away with.
Even If Milan can't stump up the money to buy Bakayoko outright, solid performances at Milan can attract buyers from other leagues, in his final year of contract.

Leonardo (Sporting Director) at PSG for example has made no secret of his desire to bring Bakayoko back to PSG (at the right price). Long-term admirer.

It should’ve haven been made mandatory imo. Anyway,
there no way the club would let them sign him with just an option without extending first.

Milan were never going to agree on loan with obligation to buy, this is the only solution.
The alternative is Bakayoko stays at Chelsea doesn't play at all (rots), picks up substantial wages, and any potential transfer fee depreciates significantly more.
That alternative is not in the best interests of the club, from a business perspective.

Bakayoko has two years left on his contract currently, doesn't have to extend contract.
Would only need to extend if he was into his final year of contract this summer.
