Julien Laurens has said that Paul Pogba is playing a big role in trying to get his France team-mate to United, And negotiations are progressing positively as well.

Youth contracts in England are the best in the world. And many of them have got very good training facilities.
-------------------------------------------------
I know but I was only talking from a playing perspective. Good contracts and facilities won't necessarily increase your chances of a path into the first team.
I get your point about getting into the lower leagues but again in other countries you've probably an easier route into the first team at a club playing in a top division rather than a club playing in the lower leagues.

Depends on the league. But the earning potential of the lower leagues, especially it they can get up to even more lucrative leagues, is still better in England than all of Europe.
The name of these academies have gravitas in England. Look at United, despite the decline of the academy there’s still more United academy graduates playing in the English football pyramid than any other - though that may well be Chelsea now, haven’t checked recently.
I think the ones to really question are the top prospects leaving the Dutch league.

Joe Hugill's off to a very good start at United. There's a bit of Will Keane about him before he started suffering with serious injury.
Hopefully his career ends up being a lot better than Keane's.

Stood out for Sunderland when they played our U18s last year.
Will be interesting to see how he does against older lads, as his size gave him a big advantage at U18 level.
Looks like he’s got bags of goals in him though.

Question is, can he play right wing?

At this point, would anyone not want us to spend £108 million this weekend on Sancho?

Baz. And he can suggest a suitable alternative who currently plays for Kilmarnock.
