Scores for the Netherlands, slab sent off for England

Yeah, but what was Pogba doing while that happened?
++++

Dabbing probably.

Maguire needs to be taken out of the firing line by Ole. Play Lindelof and Bailly for a few games and let Maguire train hard and get his head straight.

The club didn't want nor rated Maguire. They said no to Maguire under Jose.

No. they said to him, we have bought you 4 CBs already. Get a tune out of them.

Short memory.

4? I think you mean two.

It will always be flat, no matter what.

leicester should be under investigation
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Selling defective goods.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hwent defective last season though. Yes he wasn’t worth 80 million.

But all this stems from Greece.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

He's a decent defender on form, not a leader and like you say not worth 80m.

Price tag has weighed heavily, captaincy is an additional responsibility he could do without but his off field incident has damaged him.

He will not be the same until the the retrial and until he clears his name.

Ole has to pick players on form and currently Maguire does not even make the bench for me. Easy choice for Ole but does he have the balls to drop his 80m club captain? That's where I have my doubts.

The more drubbings we get, the more Maguire will be scrutinised and closer Ole will near the exit door.

What a mess!

Normally I think most posters are complete full of krappe in regards to what Ole should do, but in this instant I'll join the lot of you. If Ole doesn't mix things up and we play 4-2-3-1 with slab, Dave and Bruno and lose to the barcodes, - I may join the Ole out parade. Sheer willpower isn't enough, and he's been stubborn as SAF could be, but he hasn't earned that privilege yet. Slab needs a break - Bruno needs a break and DDG needs a benching so he can watch a confident keeper do the job. There's plenty of merit in this and it's a win-win for club and player..

Maguire isn't the naturally bullish, confident type. He is a good defender but basically a confidence player. I haven't seen any of tonights match but if he was as bad as it sounds then he should be dropped. The bigger issue is Southgate starting both Maguire and Pickford when both have been very poor.

Is there any chance that an England manager will ever pick a first XI on form rather than £££ or the club they play for?

Way to go to have much more regular 5 goal deficits.

Maguire ain't the problem.

Maguire needs to be dropped and get his head sorted. Bailly and Lindelof should get in. Tuanzebe could probably come in. But we'll be struggling in the air, whoever it is. Maybe Bailly and Tuanzebe might be the best bet but the latter has been out for a long time.

If Maguire was a decent bloke he'd volunteer himself out of the team for a while.
If he's a major cnt, then he won't and he'll keep massively underperforming for us game after game without any consequences.
