Anyone into Spiderman, will probably have seen the Spiderman into the Spider-Verse movie. I thought it was ok, but for many it was one of their favourite movies.
Well fast forward to Spiderman PS5, and Insomniac have seen fit to bring a little bit of that movie into the game. Offering a Spider-Verse suit. Not just adding the suit, but the gameplay to match.
I'm sure Spider-Verse fans will love it.

Why does the Spiderman animation look really chopping when swinging through the air? Or is that just my phone?

You obviously have not seen the movie. This is how he swings in the movie, they messed with the framerate to make it look that way.
Apparently, if you prefer normal swinging that is an option too.
As for looking like Spiderman, it basically is, with different animations built around Miles. Obviously there are some upgrades for the PS5.

I never noticed it tbh.
One of the best animation movies ever imo.
