If anyone expects a youngster to come into that team as an attacking midfielder and make a big difference in just one game then you are seriously deluded.
Every time Willock got the ball, Pepe, Aubameyang and Willian were either static or closing Willocks space down. It should be noted our best chance during the first 60 minutes came from Willocks vision and pass.

Maybe if he had Saka alongside him he could have been more effective.

Agree with the first part of your comment.

Willock needs to look on his own performance that needs to improve if he wants to be a first teamer.

Players in general need to look at themselve first and not looking for excuses.

Once again dj has to introduce his vulgarity by using a banned word that he often uses against those who point out his stupidity. It must give him his perverse thrill. Maybe because many have used the same term against him! What a sad and sick individual who has to use vulgarity by referring to genitilia. He must spend most of his day playing with himself. Just read Xhaka completed zero passes to willock, and just 3 to ceballos. Hard for any attack minded players to be any good if that’s the service behind them. Hopefully that improves when partey is back

Bang average player. The guy doesn't have any outstanding qualities. Can't pass five yards, not particularly quick, not particularly strong, poor technically and not intelligent on or off the ball.

To be fair, Ozil was undoubtably world class at some point. We know what he is capable of when he is on song. And at 31/32, he has not suddenly lost his ability to pick a pass. So it is quite fair to ask why we are not using the tools we have at the moment (he is not leaving in Jan) and instead are throwing out a player who with Partey and Elneny behind him could excel. And Willock...while he has potential, has not shown it at the highest level. Saka and Martinelli have shown what is possible but Willock and Reiss Nelson have not done it int he league. Nketiah is (in my opinion) a class below even Nelson and Willock and yet he gets game time. Questions have to be asked if a club's vendetta is worth us tumbling down the table due to no creativity whatsoever.
