MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

Everton are unbeaten in 13 top-flight home games against Leeds since a 3-2 loss in August 1990 (W6, D7).
The Toffees can win three successive home league meetings for the first time since December 1951.
There has been just one away triumph in the previous 24 Premier League encounters, Everton's 1-0 victory in November 2002.
Leeds' League Cup third-round victory at Elland Road in September 2012 is the most recent meeting between the two clubs.

Everton
Everton's win at Fulham last time out ended a run of three straight league defeats.
They could lose successive home matches for the first time since September 2019. Carlo Ancelotti has not lost successive home league fixtures since November 2012 with PSG.
The Toffees can win more than five of their opening 10 Premier League matches for only the second time, and first since recording their best final position of fourth in 2004-05.
Ancelotti's side have conceded at least twice in six successive top-flight fixtures for the first time in 12 years.
Everton have scored 19 goals so far this season. They have not scored 20 in their opening 10 top-flight games since 1980.
Premier League top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored 13 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions.

Leeds United
Leeds United have won just once in six league games, drawing two and losing three.
They have won two of their four away matches, having won just three in total during their last Premier League campaign in 2003-04.
Since Marcelo Bielsa took charge of Leeds in 2018, Leeds have kept 41 clean sheets in 101 league games - more than any other side in England's top four divisions.
In their first four Premier League games this season, Leeds had 45 shots (11.3 per game), scoring nine goals at a conversion rate of 20%. In their past five league games, they had 85 shots (17 per game) but have scored just five goals at a 6% conversion rate.
Patrick Bamford can match Thierry Henry's Premier League record of scoring in his club's first five away games of a season.
Bamford can become the first Leeds player to score in five successive away fixtures since Ian Lawson in 1963.

There we go then Lads, I'm looking for a few goals from the Team to make up for the disappointment of the last game which almost felt like a loss but we go again and i'm predicting my usual 1-2 scoreline (but i won't complain if we get more than 2 ) Bamford and Rodders to score (one day i'll get this right )

Over to You............................Predictions etc.....................................

He takes set pieces but god knows why
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whips them in with pace into good areas of the pitch. Try being successful with set pieces when you have zero offensive attacking headers of the ball at the club. We havent scored many set pieces for some time now. The common factor is the team not the takers.

Phillips' set piece deliveries are also pretty hit and miss. Sometimes seems like they are signalling the wrong routine and put the ball into the only area with no Leeds players

I thought we were wasteful but Sheff Utd make us look prolific.

Great game today. Great win.
Meslier excellent bar distribution.
Defence was decent bar Cooper who looks out of his depth at this level so far. Team set-piece defending at free kicks was a concern.
Phillips was outstanding - MOTM
Klich not far behind - linked up so much play.
Harrison and Alioski didnt make great impact with the ball but both very good off it working their socks off. Alioski gave some really cheap possession away but love his attitude to fight back for it.
Dallas all over the place again.
Raphinha was very good in bursts.
Bamford great outside the box, not so in the box.

Any chance Lowfields can get banned because he’s clearly not a Leeds fan

Cooper was excellent today. Aside from that Kebab was mostly right.

Just a word on Phillips. I think it would be fair to say for a number of reasons he had quite an unsettled start to the season.

I actually think that time on the sidelines has helped him reset get back to what he does best and it is an absolute pleasure watching play like he did yesterday.

One of the most composed mature performances from him and that's what good looks like for a player in his position. The way he cruises around breaking up play pinging passes left and right and just being an ever present thorn in the opposition's side is great to see. Make sit look easy but still covers most distance on the pitch.

In many ways he is a 100% proof Bielsa player and one that has been moulded to be his general on the pitch.Talent, hard work and great coaching. winning combination.

Spot on assessment Kebablegs. Mealier's distribution isn't improving and was almost disastrous in on instance, but he more than made up for it with the rest of his game. There's no way poor ol' Kiko's coming back...

He is brilliant when used in that role. Such a shame he is played in a nothing kind of role for England so he looks ineffective. Bielsa knows how to get the best out of any player, sadly Southgate is not in the same class

i don't know of many players who excel for their club playing a specific role, then getting picked for england to play the same role as to why the were picked in the 1st place, mind boggles
