Anything can happen in any match this season!
We'll take a strong side to Goodison, though, I quite fancy our chances. Rodrigo to score.

------------
absolutely, who knows whats going to happen
the facts are I guess that an Everton, a seasoned premier league club, at the start of the season the quest for survival you'd be thinking a point is a good rresult.. still the case.
thing is, as we aware, games this season, and our games in general could be fire works.
Always thought we're going to get a pasting, we have, always though we're going to put teams to the sword, those 3 pointer games like Villa, sheff utd etc.. we have.
I think we're very capable of beaing any team this season, including Everton.
2 - 0 Christiano brace
Digne will be a big loss for them, I'm glad he aint playing.
Be interesting to see if Everton stick with 3-4-3 that they used for the first time against Fulham. It's a formation we have struggled against a couple of times this season. Most notably against Leicester.
One of the difficulties is that Phillips' man to mark in the system will be playing a deeper role than who Phillips is used to picking up which could then lead to more gaps in the middle of the pitch.
The advantage is that in possession we should have a big overload in the middle of the pitch. We do like to attract the opposition into the middle though and exploit space out wide. If you watch notice the times when we really click, this is what happens. A great example was the move against Arsenal, the ball worked it's way to Klich n the middle who had attracted plenty of attention from Arsenal, and with some quick interplay with Raphinha they had beat the pressure and sent the ball quickly to the left where the space was left. Against the 3-4-3 it is much less likely that the spcae will be found out wide. But with Rodrigo expected to start he could possibly have a field day out there.
Dallas & Ayling will have to be very careful while we have possession. Given that there is likely to be less space for them on the overlap, and that James & Richarlison don't track back, nor will they need to as much. I worry about the long ball to DCL head on the counter for him to nod on if we are short of defenders to cover.
I am expecting a good game with both sides trying to control the game and think we will come out on top like we usually do in these types of games

Tough game to call. Should be entertaining. No wins in 5, we could do with one of those Bielsa Sat night specials we used to do in the championship. Would play the same side although its tempting to slot Rodrigo in
Still in national "lockdown" so shouldn't be any Everton fans sneaking in as far as I'm aware.
Will take another draw from this. If last week is anything to go by we will need a Pickford error to register on the scoresheet.
chew you toffee up, spit you out, sweet victory
In the early matches Koch seemed to be dominant in the air when defending and attacking corners – but not such a presence of late. Anyone else think that?
It's going to be hard to predict any of our games this season. We have the potential to match any team in this league as we've shown, but also our style of play means the opposition will get chances.
Everton have a lot of quality in their team with Rodriguez, Richarlison and Calvert Lewin so I don't see us keeping a clean sheet.
I want to see Rodrigo start, maybe bring Costa back in and look to attack them at fullback as they are light there.
I'm looking forward to this one as both teams have got a lot of flare so expect a few goals. 3-3 would be my prediction.
Seems wrong that on the anniversary of speeds death there is going to be no fans in the stadium as Leeds play Everton.
We looked so much better with KP back last week, and if Rodrigo starts, I think he can build that relationship with Bamford. However, they have players who can hurt us and with Richarlison and Calvert Lewin playing for them, I think they will get at least one goal from a header. It's hard to separate the tw sides, so 2 - 2 is my prediction, with Bamford and Rodrigo going head to head for us.
Morning allππ (no, I've not wet the bed - up with the larks this morning as big decorating day ahead before sitting down for the match and a few π·).
So, couple of thoughts ... Gary Speed first and foremost ... as said above, what a fixture it could have been for fans to pay tribute to him. Anyway, RIP Gary and always in our thoughtsπ.
Right, so to the match ... well, before the start of the season, this was one I had down for an away win for us, as one of the 10 wins we'd need to stay in the Prem. Obvs, Everton have somewhat over-performed to those early expectations and it'll be a much tougher test than I certainly had first thought. But I must stand firm and go for the lads to sneak a cheeky 2-1 win with Rodrigo and Paddy for us.
Have a good day allππ·ππ
Good game between two of the last proper clubs in the PL,

Sorry to interrupt Leeds fans. Thought this was a nice touch for big Jack
Pablo definitely injured?
Or is it a hangover from being subbed?
Should be a good game this one. No idea on the score π€
Unchanged, Pablo hasn't made the bench. Was hoping Rodrigo would start.
I can’t believe Rodrigo isn’t starting. Not happy about that at all
Rodrigo can’t be 100%, hope to be proved wrong but think we will struggle, no proper 10 and Alioski at LB we just lack that bit of quality
