Although I am sure the VAR would have just been in the deal Riley and his linesmen were on. I mean, RvNs assault was right in front of the Lino, with Riley having a clear view. No need for VAR for that, it was one of the most clear red cards in the history of football.

Bottom line is VAR is just there but its implementation remains questionable so doesnt mean sheit. Only goal line tecnology has made a fair consistent change to the game.
