MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

This game takes place on the 90th anniversary of Leeds United's biggest win against Manchester United, a 5-0 triumph at Elland Road in 1930.
Manchester United have not lost at home to Leeds in a league fixture since 1981, winning nine and drawing six of the subsequent 15 meetings.
This is the first league meeting between the sides since a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in February 2004.
Leeds won their most recent away game at Old Trafford, 1-0 in the FA Cup in January 2010.
The Red Devils have lost just one of the past 13 Premier League meetings, winning eight and drawing four.

Manchester United
Manchester United have earned 16 points out of the last 18 available, winning five games and drawing the other.
However, they have managed just one victory in six league matches at Old Trafford, scoring three goals in total.
United could equal the club top-flight record of failing to score more than one goal in eight successive home matches, last set in 1920.
They are in danger of losing their final league match before Christmas in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1995, when their second defeat came against Leeds at Elland Road.

Leeds United
Leeds United have won only twice in seven Premier League matches, drawing one and losing four.
Their three away wins in the Premier League this season have come by an aggregate score of 5-0. However, their three away defeats have come by an aggregate score of 5-11.
Leeds' victory against Newcastle United last weekend was the first time in 34 attempts they have come from behind to win a Premier League game.
Patrick Bamford's goal against Newcastle made him the all-time top scoring player in Marcelo Bielsa's managerial career, with 35 goals.
Bamford has scored nine goals in his first 13 Premier League appearances for Leeds.
Bielsa has beaten Manchester United twice in his managerial career, winning home and away with Athletic Club in the last 16 of the 2011-12 Europa League.

Really expecting OGS to have his team fired up for this, everyone is aware of the rivalry so it's not going to be easy (sorry for stating the obvious )
Anyway i feel if we can turn in another quality display we have a good chance of taking the points So it's the never right 1-2 prediction from me with Paddy getting both

I've had enough, they can bend their bloody knees but they can't pass a ball

I’m not too downbeat. You can’t give a top side a two goal start, they start knocking it about with a swagger. It was a basketball game, we played some decent stuff and had plenty of chances, but they had champions league players running at championship defenders and carved us open. For all we want to dine at the top table, our bread and butter games are Burnley and West Brom.

When anyone says you don't understand the game I want to smash their stupid heads in

I'm staying calm 😁
Surely Pablo for Klich is a straight swap???
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's clearly not. You want 35 Pablo to be the engine room box to box player?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For the 45 mins in this game a resounding yes!
Did you see how knackered Klich looked?

Shocking defending aside, we continually gave the ball away in midfield. That not only cut short goal scoring opportunities, it put us on the defensive. Pablo should have been on 100% - Struijk was disappointing.

I must admit to being more than disappointed today. Our players are dispossessed so easily at times or they make a bad pass and then the opposition punish us. We started like schoolboys, 2-0 down within 3 minutes. Unbelievable! They could have scored 9 if it hadn’t have been for Mesllier.
So, our next games are definite “must wins” now, but who plays in defence? If Cooper is out we have no centre backs fit! We are worryingly near to the drop zone. After we beat Newcastle I was in heaven, but came down with a massive thud this afternoon. However, hope will be restored before the next kick-off.
Happy Christmas everyone. Keep safe.

Struijk did fine. And Pablo isn't able to play any of the roles vacated by players going off. Pablo CDM sounds like a disaster.

I thought Strujik did ok too. Not a penalty for me, but the James one probably was, so fair enough.

I think if our players were 2-3 hundred million players it would have been a completely diferent score!..

We've come up and in doing so we should realise that there is a little more to life then we think!..
