Forest have some good news, prior to this game as Luke Freeman has resumed full time training, although it's too soon for him to start on the bench.
Antony Knockaert's on/off loan extension has been confirmed till the end of the season.
While the performance against Cardiff left a lot to be desired the defence played well, accepting that Cardiff's main strike force were absent.
It would be nice to hope that the club has learnt it's lesson and will recruit wisely during this window, however the lack of a bid for Ben Whiteman [ Doncaster to Preston, undisclosed fee] perhaps suggests not.
There is a nasty rumour about Millwall that they sometimes keep the ball on the grass and pass it between their players while attempting to score a goal; I don't believe this myself and put it down to Chris Hughton's sense of humour.
I expect them to grace the City Ground by lumping it forward to some hulk who attempts to win the ball while elbowing our centre halves in the ear.
Millwall's season so far is very similar to ours, apart from those first four games under Sabri, who had obviously had enough of Vrentzos & Marinakis.
With a nearly fully fit squad and assuming that Grabban was rested, I expect us to win this, but not by much.

We’re not a bad side. We have industry, endeavour. And I think we have a trick or two up our sleeve too.
Chris Hughton will get us in the EPL (in the fullness of time), of that I am now convinced.

So long as he is given the time, the right resources and support

Starting to come together under Hughton.
Never looked like going behind, finally cracked under aerial bombardment late on but 3-0 up by then.
I'd give Yates MOTM.

The camaraderie is beginning to set in. Even Grabben celebrated when that third goal went in with a huge smile & hugs all round.
Looks like CH is working on galvanising the squad. It wasn’t a lucky win today, the whole team worked together for that result.

We’re going to win the league. Top 6 at least

The test as to whether we’ve turned a corner or not will be seen over the next few games - if we can get positive results against Boro, Swansea. & Barnsley, then maybe we’re onto something good

So long as the team approach the games in the right attitude we stand a good chance against Borough' and Barnsley. Swansea are a good season ahead of us in terms of progression, we will be lucky to get anything there. Gary Rowett said that forest have dangerous players going forward, and he's right, there is more to come.

TBH / I’m not all that bothered about the Swansea game in the FA Cup, but a win would be a huge confidence booster
I’d much prefer we get maximum points against Boro and Barnsley of it meant we lost to Swansea in the Cup
But I know football doesn’t work like that
