Like so many games of last season, show the players this one nice and early, Matt Smith hat trick, possibly the easiest he will ever score. Why would Millwall change from that tactic, it works well for them. Assuming we can get control of this one early, and not get into a ‘hoof ball’ contest with them we have a chance of winning. CH should by now know his best eleven and with the defence looking more organised we at least have a platform to build on. There have been no rumours of any first teamers leaving, Worrall and Grabban in particular, so things appear relatively settled. Keep the ball on the deck, play possession football and I think we can win this, possibly 2-1, get involved in ‘hoof ball’ and Millwall will probably win. We should be able to get points from all of the next 3 games, 7 would be a good return and hopefully move away from the dreaded bottom 3. I don’t imagine tomorrow’s game will be pretty, so let’s at least be effective.

Hopefully, Worrall and his partner will be ready for Smith today if he starts.

CH has to decide if he keeps McKenna and Bong in the side after thet had good games last week.

I think we will score more than one day and a fairly comfortable win.

REV, are you there?
Just seen Britt come on as a second half sub for 'boro. Before he came on he held out his palms and appeared to be saying a prayer. Muslim?
Then he crossed himself. Catholic?

I'm confused. He's not the first I've seen doing it. Maybe just hedging his bets.

Maybe he's channeling in all religions to help his goal scoring drought.

We could do with Borough' scoring a couple of goals to leave Birmingham on 23 points. We could then drag them into the mire with a good result ourselves this afternoon.

Good team; Knockaert on the bench is a bit of a surprise.

Struggling to see any creativity in our line up, defensively we look ok, but can’t see many goals going our way, surely Knockaert or Arter should be in the starting eleven.
One goal will probably win this.

Didn't know that. I just repeated what RN said when the pre-match programme started.
Not really bothered about either of them TBH...

We could’ve done with Borough’ taking the points though Bosque. Drags Brum down.

Decent start. Better than last time they came to the city ground.

Yeah we’re not bad are we. Inventive in our forward play and some of the little moves that we’re way off a few games back are now coming together. Just need to score. Now where I have we heard that before 🧐

Could do with in form knockart & Lolley being out there.

Look a lot more confident and for the first time ina long time I'm not panicking when the opposition attack.

Agreed. But Millwall do give us cause to sweat when they break through. We are beginning to form and it’s actually quite interesting to watch. For once.

Yes Milwall have a threat but we seem to be willing to put bodies on the line in defense. Big change to the start of the season.
