Ramos is a strange one. I can't help loving him, even though everything about him points towards someone I would want to kill. And it's not because he plays for Madrid. We've had plenty of players I'd have liked to shove under a herd of stampeding wildebeest.

Conversely, Puyol I absolutely loved by the end of his career, despite him being one of my most hated players early on. That World Cup goal he scored (or did he just assist it?) against Ukraine was absolutely ridiculous for such a messy footballer, let alone a centre back.
