Yes . I follow a few teams in the championship and he’s been fairly consistent in a decent team so would hope he can step up

Not really - as I said he is a decent player in a decent team , Has been picked consistently for about 4 years but I don’t follow it closely enough to know what their record is in the league . I have seen him play once live. against Bristol city in about 2018 19 and Preston won and Davies looked decent . Just hope he does a good job for us

I can remember souness making two 300k signings.

one was rob jones and the other kozma. You cannot tell how good a player will be or not til you see for yourself.

I'm not going to prejudge the guy.

At least he's an experienced CB, I think that's the main thing. Should be a better option than Williams who desperately needs a loan or two to gain some experience at first team level. Him and Phillips should offer a CB partnership that's ok due to their greater experience.
