Man, imagine if we’d had Tuchel all season 😩 we’d be second IMO. Lampard wasted half the season with this team.

Having a massive WhatsApp debate.
I’m saying that was a clear pen for Chelsea.
Mate saying Werner cheated.
What’s the general reaction to this?

What lol was one of the clearest penalties given all season
Shows how bad refs are that VAR was needed to give it

Shearer summed it up
Its not on Werner to get out of the way there the keeper has to get the ball if he is going to make contact

Exactly... what Souness was trying to say, I haven’t a clue. Putting the blame on Werner. He simply done him.
I’m sure he wouldn’t of got to the ball to score, but the goalie committed, and got done.
It wasn’t as if Werner drag his leg either, he got hit.
Keano said it was a pen, and I’d take that over a guy that didn’t even play in the No Pass Back Era...

Most stonewall pen you’ll see, in real time aswell the keepers on him in 0.1 seconds. Definitely pen

Being 1 point behind us is crap, we're terrible at the moment.

Just saw the incident, Werner was going doing already the cheat!

Did Harry Kane make another attempt on someone’s life today or did he have a day off?

A few United fans might remember this. Pen reminded me of the one Zamorano played for at the San Siro in the Treble season.
Knew exactly what he was doing, played the percentages of going in the direction the keeper had committed to knowing contact was inevitable - tactfully won legit penalty. Always surprised me the Zamorano one wasn't given as a kid, but that might be an example of how the thinking has changed in 20+ years.

Anyways.... much credit for the win goes to VAR for overturning Kevin Friend, not once but twice. On another day without VAR we'd 'ave likely lost points on this game.
Ironically it was Lampard who is due credit for the emergence of VAR as anyone ...should also take a bow.
