Inspired by the Veratti article below what players, that you may not see that often with big reputations tend to disappoint on the few occasions that you get to see them?
Also which players that tend to fly under the radar a bit always seem impress to impress?
Players I am disappointed with when I see them:
Koulibaly - big reputation but the few times I've seen him has had a few poor games.
Players that impress:
Gundogan - getting the plaudits rightfully this season but I don't he's ever failed to impress me over the years and was perhaps not as prominent as City's other big stars
Players that impress/disappoint

Not a big name but Nathan redmond has always have a stormer the few times a year I watch Southampton. Then look on his stats and guy barely starts games let alone scores any goals
.....
He always seemed to play well against us before this season.
Downing was the same.

Richarlison is a player I’m often underwhelmed by. Cost a lot of money and seems to often get linked with bigger moves but for me he’s not much more than a good player who turns up occasionally.

Lucas Moura has always impressed me with his technical ability, although his end product is lacking. If he had a half decent end product, he'd be a very good player imo.
Douglas Luiz is quite an underrated player at Villa as well imo, breaks the game up really well. Ill-disciplined maybe, but still a good player nonetheless.
Ryan Bertrand is one I've been disappointed with for a while now. Showed really good form for a few years but looks a shadow of his former self these days.
On the European stage, Josip Ilicic doesn't get enough credit, he's a fantastic player really, just maybe age lets him down a little bit.
Fabian Ruiz was also Napoli's best player imo when I've seen him play. Surprised a bigger team hasn't picked him up as of yet.

Naby Keita, I had never seen him play before he came to the league but from what I heard he was meant to be some kind of hybrid of Wahls top 10 midfielders of the last decade.

OP - back to Gundogan - a player that was on our radar and he's had to bide his time at City, but never complained and he's been a revelation since KdB's injury. Makes it so much harder to swallow, that we missed out on a quality player with a good mindset.
