Why are people thinking Jose was protecting a 1-0 lead? We missed so many chances in both halves to score more, it was our poor finishing tonight that kept the score low.

It had the same worrying feel as all those other games where we've dropped points after taking the lead. Create a good number of chances first half, score a goal, then get pushed back second half. Last night we happened to get away with it due to the stupid handball rule, but we will be back to square one again and endure constant dropped points if it becomes a theme again, cause we don't have the defence for it.

Hes really not

I thought we played well in the first half against a team who are much better than their league position would suggest and fighting for survival.

However the 2nd half was garbage and we were very fortunate that the new handball rule came to our rescue. We looked very tired and were 2nd to everything from half time onwards.

Still thats a cracking 3 points, its like my dear old mother always says "if you can't be good be lucky".

Bale was disappointing after his performance in the last game, but to be fair to Fulham they were quick to press our players. It looked like he had been taking tips on how to take a free kick from Kane too, when it should be the other way round.
