After Oprah rather cynically interviewed Meghan and Harry, purely to distract away from Derby's dismal run of two losss and no wins in five........it worked and everyone has been talking about nothing else all day.
But now we can return to more important matters. Derby go to Yorkshire, short on confidence for a very tough game against a team who gave won 7 on the trot. A bit of a juggernaut awaits and I just don't want to get embarrassed. Anyway I'm glad Harry dissed William who supports Aston Villa.
Team and system could be anyone's guess - many of our new heroes look badly tired but it's not the right time to rest anyone. Unless you're playing Cardiff - away.
I'm off to watch Meggy and H.
Team news:-
Roos
Wisdom (C)
Forsyth
Shinnie
Edmundson
Jozwiak
Kazim-Richards
Mengi
Clarke
Gregory
Knight
Subs: Idem, Bird, Waghorn, Sibley, Roberts, Buchanan, Wilson, McDonald, Watson.

Feels like this is one of the most physical seasons in a while. Is the thumpnanship going retro.
Kick n rush o clock. I blame Forest lowering the bar and other teams have been sucked in.

Have to say that we nullified them completely. Could easily have taken the three points and then would have been the archetypal hard-fought away win.

Yeah after their spell beginning of 2nd half not troubled

Thought he might have brought Waghorn on for Gregory sooner. Waghorn bends his runs well om the whole. Of course, he then generally misses.

Morning after View:
Well I think we'd have taken a 0-0 at the beginning eh - and on chances created a draw was about right.
I must admit after reading the hype surrounding Barnsley atm I expected more from them....but no....just Hoofball...and tbh we matched them. Looking at the pitch it was probably for the best anyway.
I must admit Mrs Hennessey had enough of it by half time and went to bed = leaving me to watch yet another feast of footballing entertainment on my own.
anyway, this was definately a game for the diehards. That said we played well....not in a footballing way - but in a battling way - and let's face it we could have won....as equally they could too.
Players who impressed me were Roos...he was faultless, Menghi also had his best game for use...he looked strong and skillful - even though he gave away which for me was a penalty. I was pleased to see Fozzie back as it was time for Buchanan to have a rest and he played well. Also Shinnie/Knight were back to there best too. Joz also worthy of a mention plus ckr for his hold up play.
All in all I'm pleased with a point as Barnsley have beaten some good teams this season. Anyway....on to Rowetball on Saturday

If we could get better in front of goal and became a goal a game team, then had fought clean sheets would be getting us 3 points and top half of the table instead of 1 point and keeping our noses above water. I know it is obvious but crack that and we will be a decent team

Dead right Wicklow. Gregory should have popped it in the net last night and then it would have been a good job done. Obviously it's hard to keep grinding out the clean sheets when there aren't many going in the other end because you would feel any mistake is likely to cost the game. A little bit of pace up front last night and I felt the game was absolutely there for the taking. We got caught offside many times but a quicker striker could have made sure he stayed the right side of their defensive line.

Never seen so many offsides vidal and that was without Waggy.
Needed a crowd last night to tell the linesman where to shove his flag.

Where I sit at Pride Park I am in the perfect position to advise the linesman and do so very frequently. Never once got any thanks though.
