He's clearly an intelligent man who knows an awful lot about football. Although the methods he was successful with 10 years ago aren't effective in modern football he could have easily adapted if he wanted to.
The most painful thing is he occasionally allows the team to play and we look a very good team. If you look at our last few games before Arsenal we played some good stuff, with the only exception being the Fulham second half where we sat back and were lucky to get away with a draw.
So why does he revert to type and deliver the type of garbage we saw yesterday? He's not stupid, he cannot really have thought the best way to play arsenal would be camp in our own box and have a Lamela Rabona as our only shot in the first 70 minutes.
I can only think it's his narcissistic personality where he wants to prove everyone wrong by winning 1-0 with 30% possession.
That's our EIGHTH loss in a row to a top 10 team. He is hopeless in big matches. Levy really should be getting a caretaker ready for the international break because there is no way we win the league cup or Europa playing this way and he'll have to sack him anyway once we miss out on CL qualification.
Get this loser out now!
Why is Jose such a stubborn coward?

And if Oliver had given us that pathetic penalty instead of Arsenal, and sent Zhaka off instead of Lamela, people would be lauding Mourinho this morning instead of lambasting him.
Such is the fine margins and influence referees have over games of football, and the reactionary and fickle nature of most fans.
Mourinho is not without his faults, but you can not question his record, and unquestionably Michael Oliver influenced yesterdays result.

1. Setting up to defend at all costs and rely on a moment of genius is not a sustainable plan. Worldies like Lamela's yesterday don't happen every game and allowing your opponents possession and territory will lead to more shots on goal, some of which will go in. Simple maths. Case in point: 8 losses from last 8 games vs top-10 sides.
2. "Wait till summer to sack him" doesn't wash with me. I understand it's a big call to sack him before the Europa final, but a new manager could get to grips with the squad, work on a new approach and (crucially) start making enquiries and contacts with new signings in time to take care of transfer business early in the summer. That all allows the new manager to hit the ground running next season, rather than having to sort through all the fallout from sacking Mourinho at the start of the summer which will only delay and frustrate matters for the new guy. How many times have we seen Spurs fail to get their dealings done early, leading to a sluggish start to the new season with new players unable to integrate until the winter or later...
The signs are all pointing in one direction. Get rid of Mourinho, now. He's not turning it round now, he never has before. When the slide sets in with Mourinho, it's terminal.

We are already in the realms of writing off next season if we dont act quickly and get rid of him now. Our squad is starting to look quite old and with Mou's abysmal record of bringing on young players its looking a bit bleak for the future.
If Levy has a plan on the football side I'm not seeing it aside from lucking our way into the CL by winning the EL.

Spurs are the only team in the Prem to have beaten both the current top two this season. So he clearly is not hopeless in big matches. And you don`t win all the trophies he has won if you don`t win big matches.
This is a strange season, where every team is capable of beating any team on any given day. Spurs are no different to the rest of the teams. They have no god given right to win all their games.

Defensive pragmatic football is in his DNA, he said he'd be more attacking when he went to United and Spurs but it's just not who he is.

If you're sticking to a style dogmatically then it's not pragmatic

A fellow Chelsea fan endorsing Oliver ...oh dear...I'll have to wash my eyes ...but yes... he did indeed have a blinder performance!

May do, may not. I think the same was said a couple of years ago when they met in the CL.
