tonight on social media. These low life's need banning and brought to book. Ashamed that they supposedly support the same club as myself. Football is in the gutter right now.

This is disgusting behavior and has no place in society, my thoughts go to Davinson, nobody should be subjected any kind of abuse.
That does not change the fact that Sanchez is a dreadful defender and has no place wearing a Spurs shirt however.

Personally I’d like to see all major platforms get linked to identity, you get one account per person. You get it banned then you lose access. You abuse someone then the local police knock on your door.
We have a generation who witness daily abuse without consequence and online bullying is seen as normal to our children. How much longer can we really afford to let big tech resolve this?
We’d still get anonymous abuse from abroad but the least we can do is get our own house in order.

Agreed Billy. Racism is disgusting as is any form of racist abuse to any person, let alone a footballer, but that doesn’t change the fact Davinson Sanchez is an absolute dog s** defender and needs selling ASAP

There are nearly 5 billion people on the planet that use the internet, of course you're going to get racist comments at this volume. It shouldn't happen but it shouldn't be a surprise that it does. Anybody that uses social media should be aware of the risks and understand the way it operates. You are offering yourself up to abuse and there are people out there that will attack you because of your race, gender, sexual preferences, weight, hair colour you name it. Anything they think will affect that person the most, they'll use against them. You either need a thick skin and ignore the comments or come off of it completely.

Tell that to the far right campaigns against woke and cancel culture. If they don't like wokeness or cancel culture then they should fack off social media, no?

Recent reports reckon 70% of racist tweets and such like come from abroad. You've got to be a complete idiot to post such comments when you can be traced.

I'd scrap it all. I hate it with a passion. I can't stand either side. You sound like you could be a child of this generation that's grew up with a phone in your hand. The Platforms need boycotting but people are to invested to make that decision.

Contrary to that I am not even on social media. I hate it too tbh.

Fair enough. If you can see how toxic it is, stop using it. It doesn't add up to just complain about it and carry on as normal. You're not gonna change the fabric of the human condition over night. You either accept how some people can be, don't give them the time of the day and move on or save yourself the stress and come away from it altogether. Life's to short.

Fair enough as an opinion but that's not what an overwhelming majority will chose to do. Others will have different opinion and will have a right to use social media if they wish without getting abused.
Bottom line is if people chose to use social media then their welfare on there must be looked after.
