Just interested to know fellow fan’s opinions on this as we have believed the right wing to be a priority for some time now but this season and of late Greenwood has definitely been better than Rashford and has looked good on the right.
Is the left now a bigger priority as we have Greenwood and Amad on the right but seemingly only Rashford on the left (maybe Martial) and Rashford‘s ball retention and decision making has been so poor, constantly putting us back under pressure, there has to be serious doubts about him now.
Guess on the flip side Greenwood may be needed as the striker more and Cavani’s game time may limited.
Left bigger priority than right?

Would it?
Dvb also had good stats in that position. Unless Sancho can create out of nothing from that position like Bruno, he'll just be like Dvb.

Fortunately Sancho is nothing like VdB. Amazing it even needs to be said.

In the no. 10 position that structure at Dortmund and Ajax no doubt help. We don't have that.

You act like good attacking players can’t do anything in a United shirt.

Get more competition lor LW and RW. People like Marcus would be far better when he realises he's not guaranteed a start. Would shape up in no time. Just look how the presence of Telles has transformed Shaw.

Fully agree, some bench time could really help him plus its what his recent performances deserve but need a quality addition first such as Sancho.

-------------------------------------------
At Ajax VdB relied heavily on his teammates being in close proximity, constant rotations, players in between the lines and quick ball circulation.
Although those things obviously help, Sancho doesn't depend on them to perform as he's far more individualistic and capable of creating chances for himself than VdB is.

For himself yes. But does he possess the passing ability to create for others in that position?

He can create goals for himself and for others in any area in the final third. His creativity isn't just limited to the wide areas.
Not that we're expecting him to be used centrally often if at all but Darren only mentioned it as an option.
