Whilst this may well be true, Ole is going to remain manager and will be given a new contract. So it seems pointless and extremely boring to go down that particular rabbit hole.
And the fact Greenwood plays on the right is a big enough reason that we should be going for a right winger. I like him and think he's going to be an exceptional forward for us, but a right winger he ain't.

Our biggest priority should be a world class CDM. We then need a right back who can attack.
Those positions are our two biggest weaknesses, because teams can just leave AWB in acres of space because he is pathetic on the ball. Mcfred are both levels below the likes of Kante and Fabinho as defensive mids.
After that we can start discussing attacking players.
Short answer, no. Aaron Wan Bissaka is utter gash, offers absolutely nothing in an attacking sense and falls asleep time and again defensively. I can’t remember seeing a full back failing to hold the line and playing players onside as much as he does. And that’s before we even attempt any upgrade on right wing.
Prime Dani Alves would be the dream.
I honestly won't be surprised if we go for Ronaldo, which would be a horrendous retrograde step imo. Given Ole's borderline obsession with the past it just seems like a goer to me. We'll see, I really hope I'm wrong
Sancho is mainly a left winger. That's where he plays for Dorrmund and does very well.

I have done. Whoscored confirms his most common starting position was as a right attacking midfielder. It was the same last season. There seems to be a narrative that he's a left winger who would have to be shoehorned in to the team on the right side. That isn't the case and he'd be a much better fit than a centre forward playing there, as is currently the case.
And the stats on whoscored will also tell you that not only does he often start on the right, but he's also most effective there

He is. Whoscored is easily the most reliable statistical database. But yeah, regardless, he has often played on the right to great effect so not signing him to play on the right because he's a "left winger" would be silly. His versatility and ability to play across the front line is a great asset, not a negative though

OK. We'll agree to disagree on where he usually plays, let's not fall out. Yes his ability to play across the front line with great effect is a big plus point.

Its may be a case of Jack of all trades, master of none.
For me though its more of coming from Germany to England. The step up is massive. Look at the Chelsea boys from Germany and a whole lot of signings from that league with great numbers but underwhelming here.
Think people are writing Rashford off foolishly. He's clearly not been fit this season and yet still put up good numbers despite some frustrating displays at times.
21 goals and 16 assists is a decent return from him numbers wise given that includes hardly any pens at all.
He needs a rest quite frankly. I kind of wish there wasn't a Euros taking place. A lot of our players quite frankly looked broken by the final.

Of course one valid question regarding signings is does this manager really know what is needed for this squad?

Sancho is mainly a left winger. That's where he plays for Dorrmund and does very well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He isn't though. He plays all along the front line but the position he starts most is on the right. Every season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He doesn't, he starts on the left for Dortmund believe me. Check it out for yourself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Check out Bundesliga.com. Offical website. Last season he played 20 times on the left and 12 on the right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf I'd rather go with official OPTA stats (which is where whoscored come from). Regardless, do you accept that he does often play on the right to great effect and that this narrative that he is a left winger who shouldn't be signed to play on the right on that basis is not true?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As mentioned his goal scoring stats on the right are better but he's not usually deployed there.

Priority is a new manager.
Imagine discussing spending hundreds of millions on players, whilst having a championship level manager at the helm.
Seriously, if Ole got sacked tomorrow, no premiership clubs would be chasing his signature, which shows his level.

What a boring sack of turfd this guy is. Imagine being that upset 😂😂
Tip for you pal. Get on tinder, swipe right. Eventually some poor lass will give u a swipe too.

Is that how you cope?
Of course one valid question regarding signings is does this manager really know what is needed for this squad?
