Does anyone on here have the latest Xbox One X? The reason I ask is because one of my tenants is really down on his luck and, for various reasons, I have been paying his rent for him. Now he has broken his leg which is really pushing him towards tipping point and I want to help him out that little bit more.
In his previous job he was a software developer and he is obsessed with video games, he has wanted the new Xbox One X since last year but he can't afford one and he's had such a bad time I want to just get him one. I think it'll really take his mind off of things and give him a new lease of life whilst he recovers and then eventually gets himself back to work.
Are they any good if someone does indeed have one?? Would Tesco or Currys sell them??

If your tenant is unable to pay rent they can get assistance via universal credit
Get the Xbox series S which I think is available to buy and is a lot cheaper but not really much worse comparatively

He won't be able to buy any games (or online subscription if he intends to play multiplayer) for it anyway if he can't even pay rent so it will become boring pretty quickly.

Yes, one game. Which you finish in 30-100 hours maybe, if he sits at home thats 1-2 weeks and the game is finished. Then you need to start supplying more games.
A broken leg should be about 6-8 weeks so no need o buy him a new console if he already has a 360. Just buy him a good game like AC Origins, should be about 200 playing hours.
You are betting off helping him with his CV.

The issue I am faced with here is if I open up my recruitment network to him and place him somewhere then all my other networking contacts will want me to do the same for them.
I’m too busy for that and don’t have the energy to suddenly start introducing people and opening up doors etc...

That is not what I suggested at all. How the fack do you get that from what I suggested?
I suggested to buy him a game for his 360 instead and maybe help him with his CV. As in, see if his CV needs some updates or rewrite.
Not once did I say to offer him a job.
