Have we been doing something wrong with Xhaka, The Xhaka that weve seen playing for Switzerland in the Euros is a level above how he plays for us. Either were doing something wrong or its an attitude issue with him.

Xhaka is a good passer of the ball when he's got the time. Yesterday he had the time.
He isn't suited to the Prem, though.

I am sure Xhaka has a mistake against Spain to unleash.
His mistakes have cost the most goals in the PL

There are three factors here in my opinion:
(1) International football is not Premier League football, he had a lot more time on the ball and his lack of mobility was not an issue in this game.
(2) Xhaka HAS occasionally produced performances for Arsenal like this against certain opposition.
(3) Xhaka has improved significantly over the seasons since he joined Arsenal, he is less rash than he was and he is much more aware defensively - of course with the intensity of the Premier League his mobility is still a limitation, his effectiveness depends very much on who he is playing with in midfield.

He has never been that bad! He seems to just another random player that Arsenal fans decide to hate, for no real reason. When he is used properly he is a solid member of the team, gives his all and I personaly would have him on the teamsheet as a given. MoM as his team knock out the World Champions? Looks I am right and the haters are wrong,as usual.

To be fair to said Arsenal fans, he isn't hated for no reason. Over the course of his careers with us, he's made numerous costly individual errors (like the memorable Burnley one last season), has received the most red cards out of any player since he joined, and played with a very slow and cumbersome style which before last season was pretty useless.
However he has improved (especially last season) and put in an absolute gem of a performance for Switzerland against France.
It's a shame that we seem to stick with players through their crap years (e.g. Giroud) and then sell them to good teams where they go on and have blinders.

You sure about point 3? Perhaps take a look back at both Burnley games last season, particularly the one where a rather rash reaction resulted in a reckless red card.
The guy is a caveman in terms of mental intelligence, always has been.

Pretty much sums it up except you didnt include 4 so Ive added it below.
4. The biggest issue I have had with Xhaka since day 1 is the failure to react to a situation and him just standing there watching when he could have won the baall only for the opposition to score or assist directly from the ball he should have won. Prime example, the nose picking incident.

We’ve done plenty wrong with Xhaka.
We spent big money on him.
We gave him a contract extension.
We made him captain.
We didn’t sell him after stripping him of the captaincy.
We still haven’t sold him today.

I can't believe xhaka has been here, what, 5 years, under 3 different managers. Yet there are STILL people saying we've not used him right.
He just isn't suited to the PL. Fack him off abroad for as much as you can and replace with better.
