Not bad... decent team pattern throughout. Just need to get the triallists signed on properly.

The EFL needs a rocket up its ar5e, something like a Saturn V should do the trick.

Despite the desire to be as vindictive as possible against Derby, the EFL will not want to set a precedent here that would see clubs in similar situations forfeiting games rather than risk this sort of absolute nonsense. I imagine the FA will very much want the EFL to be fair here and hopefully will exert a bit of pressure on the EFL to do the correct thing.

You would hope so!
On a more optimistic note, have a look at the interview via the DCFC website with Bielik. He comes across as being immensely strong both physically and mentally; extremely self-confident but not arrogant.

I have the feeling that Derby 'could' be the right fit for Morrison. Given we're currently a club that's taking a beating from the EFL, owners of other clubs, fans of other clubs have shown a dislike to our club due to Mel Morris' actions ( can't blame them), there's similarities between the club and how Morrison has been treated.
Take the recent comments ( justified ) by Simon Jordan, previous managers included Big Sam, his nomadic career, sometimes a player just needs to finally find their home.
I sincerely hope the CKR factor rubs off on him, he was a journey man and like the majority of fans he very much felt like a disappointing signing to me. Sure proved his doubters wrong!
We desperately need the EFL to overturn their decision to consider the Academy players as first team players so that we can get a few players in. ( I'm not optimistic about this, feel EFL are going to play hardball)
Not entirely sure about Jagileka at 38 years of age cutting it in the Championship. If he is going to play his trade at this level we definitely need our own young defenders to learn from him. ( It's the one thing that's bugged me from when we sign senior players/staff
e.g. Nugent, Kevin Phillips (staff), Chris Baird, Ashley Cole, etc....who has benefited from their experience moving from Academy to first team?
You could argue Bogle and Lowe from the senior defenders but what about Nugent and Phillips? Delap would probably be my shout but we've not really benefitted from that given he moved to Man City.

I don't think the role of the expereinced player is to help the transition of Academy players to the first team so much as helping them on the pitch when they do step up, especially with positioning which young players take a while to learn. Jagielka is ancient I grant you but I think he would be a great signing for where we are at the moment.

DET reporting that the EFL, bless 'em, are about to relent on the Chorley issue and that we could be in a position to make some signings soon, of the loan and out of contract variety.

Does that mean that theoretically we could resign Marriott whose contract we were not allowed to extend?

He's already signed for somebody else.
We might able able to initiate a legal challenge over the loss of an asset as it was already in the contract that we could extend it, but I can't see Mel wanting to poke the fire.

So how many players will this allow us to sign. From what I've seen the indication was this will reduce down to 20 allowing three additions under the strict wage structure or on a six month loan ( Menghi's case)

5 according to Percy. Davies and Wisdom to start with.
