Obsession with City spending

First, they said "money alone can't win you titles".
Now, they claim "Pep spending is insane". This is culled from Redcafe.

Redcafe is already in meltdown but they're so blinded they can't see their hypocrisy.

This season alone, City sold academy players worth £60m (United chipped in £11m of that figure via the Sancho deal) but spent £100m. Balance is covered by £55m of Sane's money with around £10m cash left.

City Group recently secured a loan of £500m in recent months. Are we allowed to spend this money or do we need the permission of these jealous clubs?

City won the PL, Carabao cup and reached the CL final. Are we allowed to spend these prize money?

United earned less than City in prize money last season, they have not sold any player so far this season but have spent more than City. Where's the outrage about financial doping by United?

Manchester City’s starting XI today is the most expensive in Premier League history. £550m total. An average of £50m a player.

Ederson 35m

Cancelo 60m - Dias 60m - Ake 40m - Mendy 50

Gundogan 20m - Fernandinho 40m - Grealish 100m

Sterling 60m - Torres 25m - Mahrez 60m

Someone dispute this please?

---------

De Gea- 20 mill
AWB- 50 mill
Maguire- 80 mill
Varane- 40 mill
Shaw- 30 mill
Matic - 40 mill
Fred - 45 mill
Pogba- 90mill
Bruno- 60 mill
Sancho- 75 mill
Martial- 50 mill

= 580 million pounds.

Good chance you will see the above line up from united at some point this year.

I don't know where this idea is coming from that only city spend massively. People focus on them because they actually win the league regularly whilst spending big.

I'll see you at £580m and raise you:

Ederson 35m

Walker 50m - Dias 60m - Stones 50m - Cancelo 60m

KDB 55m - Rodri 60m - Grealish 100m

Bilva 45m - Sterling 60m - Mahrez 60m

Could very well lineup like this too. £635m

Ok. So not much difference, yet City regularly win league titles and progress deep into the champions league.

And nobody is swapping the 11 united players I posted, with the 11 city players you posted.

They have just purchased a lot better than us unfortunately, or Pep has developed the players a lot better than us.

Our spending was irresponsible due to the complete 180 changes in policies for the 3 managers we had prior to Ole. Trusting Ole to continue to build on from his transfer successes this season.
