Ok...first off we know under tuchel cfc have an organisation and structure that makes it hard to get through, however lets not forget we had enough chances to score, Henderson was clean through and missed and salah shinned one as well another one salah just rolled to their keeper, there was a couple of others too.
2nd half Vs 10 men we imo lacked speed in the build up play, klopp got it wrong as well..he doesnt often but i think he did today. Elliot was good imo until cfc shut up shop, then to me he struggled to beat his man and i think klopp should of brought keita on for Elliott and last 15 i would have brought AOC on too. Both can go past their man and either shoot from distance or play the forwards in.
Anyhow..well played cfc..good shut out 2nd half but a missed opportunity for us..we should really have gone for it ala heavy metal footy.

When a guy swipes his arm to ensure a ball doesn't go into the net then the fact it hit his leg first is irrelevant.
He kept the ball out when it was clearly going in off his leg. The end.
Its instinct but in the end themselves the breaks.

It's instinct or a deliberate swipe, if it's instinct there is nothing anyone can do about it. I see what you are trying to do and I'm not complaining about the result, but your justification is was wishy washy as the decision.
By the letter of the law it's a sending off. Everything else is opinion.

Guess im gonna come down the middle of the 11v11 debate and say i thought it was a really competitive game until the red changed the face of it. We did have our chance to go 2-0 up but the feeling was any wasted chance was gonna come back to bite us

We are obviously going to be the happier with drawing away at Anfield after a red card. Going a man down has previously scuppered Tuchel's tactics so im happy to see he can prevent that

My take as well. Thought it was very evenly matched 11v11, whether the red card was right or not it ruined a very closely fought contest. The fact Tuchel bolted the doors shut in the second half showed that one extra player was the decisive fine margin between the teams.
Hopefully the match at SB stays 11v11 cos that was fun to watch.

How did Fabinho not get a yellow card r even red after fouling constantly all match how did Salad not get a yellow for kicking the ball away in descent-this has always been a yellow card offence but not for pool apparantly. The handball was a penaly yes but not deliberate so not a red card https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36047575.
now we are punished with a three match supension on top of te pen and 12 v 10 for almost an hour.
